I was planning on going and very excited obviously....

Unfortunately I had a boating accident over the weekend and lost all my guns, mags and ammo. All of it gone! So the 22nd is the day the scuba divers are scheduled to see if they can find anything but, I do fear the worst, I really do.

I guarantee that I'll buy a firearm of some flavor and a metric assload of ammo on inauguration day. I suggest that every other NRA member and fan of the RKBA buy a weapon or 100rd of ammo just to let it be known that we're here for the long haul.

I think I'll celebrate by joining AARP- after all, this inauguration marks the end of Boomer influence. I am now a has-been, Of course, I never amounted to much, so I guess that makes me a coulda-been instead. I'll sit in the rocking chair and wait for the zombies.

I hope you don't join AARP. They are extremely liberal and anti 2A, but if you need someone to rock and shoot I'm up for that!

I refuse to join AARP.

I will not contribute to an organization that opposes 2A and supports socialism.

When the Gov provides your healthcare, they will control it. Maybe not total control at first, but then they didn't totally control the educational system ar first, either.

When they have total control of healthcare, they will have total control over YOU.

Everything you do; what you eat, where you eat, where and how you live, the type work you do, even your recreational activities and leisure time.

Some distant beaurocrat will determine what proceedures you are "entitled" to. Need a new heart? Well, you know you're already in your late 60's, how much time do you really have left anyway?

Liver giving you a problem? Well, your neighbors tell me you like a few cold beers on the weekend. Not sure we can take a chance on someone with bad habits. After all, we need to make sure Everyone has the same opportunity.

As long as you do what you're told.

I thought about going... but remembered it fell on the day I planned to organize my sock drawer. Resorting, looking for holes, etc. I hate to put it off, and I really want to give the sock drawer my full and undivided attention that it needs this year.

I'll just catch another one. I mean... they come around every four years like clockwork and all.

Not attending.

Will be working and after my shift, will be going home and kiss my gun and give it a proper cleaning with well deserved attention and TLC as always....

Can't afford to go right now.

So I'm just gonna buy a bunch of those commemorative plates to hang on the wall.

Aren't we all?

A CVS on Magnolia Ave in Knoxville has those for sale and they proudly proclaim it on their sign by the road.

Coincidentally they will be pumping a lot of the same stuff in D.C. on that day.
