What bugs me is no reporter has mentioned in the story that shooting in the air in a subdivision is stupid. As for the Cop firing through the fence? Lots of bullet holes...seemed a bit reckless and innocent kids could have been killed unless he had a good site pic through pickets. Never fear, That Crump Attorney and Al Sharpton will soon be on the case with all the "Facts" I'm sure. She said her husband used her AR-15 and fired into the air as they heard their neighbors firing guns into the air, too. He does not have a concealed carry permit, but she does, she said, adding that the gun belongs to her. "We do this every year because it was New Year's Eve," she said. "Everybody (in the neighborhood) was shooting. It was a tradition. Everybody shoots on New Year's Eve." https://www.cantonrep.com/story/news/2022/01/03/wife-canton-man-killed-police-during-new-years-eve-celebration/9078516002/

untilCovert Protective Pistol III will continue the American Armed Citizen series, with an emphasis of the skills needed to be a responsible Armed Citizen. CCP III will start with discussion of the preamble that led up to a possible lethal force encounter and measures that can be taken to circumvent an attack and if a fight is imminent, what can be done to regain the Cycle of Initiative. Emphasis will be given to examining the close proximity gunfight (0-3 yards), skills needed that will create the opportunity to earn firearms access and employment. Additionally, students will be taught alternate sight alignment methodology to augment their previously mastered sight alignment methods that will continue to build on your robust, individual protective system. Realistic scenario drills, precision marksmanship, target discrimination, support hand only, and unorthodox weapons access methods are some of the other topics that will be covered in this fast paced, exciting coursework. Prerequisite: Covert Protective Pistol I or Equivalent. For questions of requirements call or email. Always Vigilant, Always Prepared! Personal Survival Solutions Shane & Calley Kerwin

untilThis course picks up where Close Range Rifle/Carbine I left off. We will be taking a more in-depth look at the 50 yard and in, close range problem set. This course will augment and add to the skills learned in the previous course. Rifle marksmanship and manipulations will continue to be emphasized, with the implementation of critical thinking and problem-solving. Simple and complexed malfunctions will be addressed, along with instituting movement and shooting, unorthodox and bi-lateral shooting, use of cover and barricades are some of the topics that will be covered during this coursework. With the uncertain times that we are seeing in our country today, the ability to employ a rifle/carbine in the protection of yourself and loved ones is an important skill to master and integrate into your personal protective system. If you are operating with a Red Dot or LPVO, Back-Up sights are highly recommended. See you on the range! Always Vigilant, Always Prepared! Personal Survival Solutions Shane & Calley Kerwin-
