untilThis nation was built on a citizenry that owned a rifle and had the ability to use it in the protection of their family, home, and community. This course is based on that premise. We will mentor you in the principles and concepts of rifle marksmanship and its employment from close range out to intermediate distances. A strong foundation will be built on the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship, working through rifle manipulation and mechanics, understanding and achieving a proper zero, positional shooting, precision marksmanship, and rapid target engagement at distance. untilThis course picks up where Close Range Rifle/Carbine I left off. We will be taking a more in-depth look at the 50 yard and in, close range problem set. This course will augment and add to the skills learned in the previous course. Rifle marksmanship and manipulations will continue to be emphasized, with the implementation of critical thinking and problem-solving. Simple and complexed malfunctions will be addressed, along with instituting movement and shooting, unorthodox and bi-lateral shooting, use of cover and barricades are some of the topics that will be covered during this coursework. With the uncertain times that we are seeing in our country today, the ability to employ a rifle/carbine in the protection of yourself and loved ones is an important skill to master and integrate into your personal protective system. If you are operating with a Red Dot or LPVO, Back-Up sights are highly recommended. See you on the range! Always Vigilant, Always Prepared! Personal Survival Solutions Shane & Calley Kerwin-

untilIf there is an emergency, would you know what to do to save a life? This is a course of instruction in emergency medical care during a hostile/critical incident. Topics include austere medical interventions in a dynamic environment and how its focus differs from the civil model, with scene evaluation, remote assessment and triage, movement of patients, management of weapons and gear under threat. Students will conduct patient evaluation, utilizing S-MARCH/5-B’s sequence of treatment with corrective intervention and support. Additionally, students will learn to recognize and treat shock, as well as participation in hands-on practical scenarios that require them to utilize the skills they have learned under stress. We hope to see you in the classroom! Always Vigilant, Always Prepared! Personal Survival Solutions Shane & Calley Kerwin

I’m guessing that I’m not alone when I say that I have learned a lot in 2020! I’ve learned that the grocery store won’t always have what my family needs, guns and ammunition have become something of a commodity and the Government sure isn’t going to take care of my family better than I can! So, yes; I’ve made some changes this year. I never owned a gun before and now there are four in my household. Although I’ve received the most training, my wife and our 19 year old son have also received training and shoot as often as we can at our local range, as well as to have added a MantisX and dry fire routine. We had “enough” supplies to get through this year’s COVID quarantine, but I’m concerned that more hard times could be just around the corner and I know I could use some input, encouragement and direction from local, likeminded people. So, my first question is, “What part of TN do you live in”? And secondly, “Do you have a group of like minded, local folks that help you prepare for difficult times?” and if you don’t have anyone, do you have any interest or desire to do so? As a response to my own questions, I live in Franklin, TN and would very much like to connect with people who want to build community, help share prepping ideas and be a “friend close by”, which is better than a brother far away... Thanks, Ray
