We will mentor you in the principles and concepts of rifle marksmanship and its employment from close range out to intermediate distances. A strong foundation will be built on the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship, working through rifle manipulation and mechanics, understanding and achieving a proper zero, positional shooting, precision marksmanship, and rapid target engagement at distance. American Armed Citizen Series: Covert Protective Pistol II

untilAmerican Armed Citizen: Covert Protective Pistol II will continue you down the path of being an Armed Citizen. Picking up where CPP I left off, this course will augment the principles and concepts learned in CPP I, while mentoring you in how to apply these lessons with realistic context. Class will start out with classroom lecture in the development of a proper Protective Mindset and understanding situational awareness. On the range we will refresh and calibrate the fundementals, expanding on them with the application of dynamic movement and how it can be applied to multiple problems we may encounter. Utilization of ballistic cover and non-ballistic barriers will be implemented, multiple threat engagement, knowing your limitation on distance shooting, complex malfunction problem solving, and fighting from positions of disadvantage will be explained, demonstrated, and put into practical application. untilIf there is an emergency, would you know what to do to save a life? This is a course of instruction in emergency medical care during a hostile/critical incident. Topics include austere medical interventions in a dynamic environment and how its focus differs from the civil model, with scene evaluation, remote assessment and triage, movement of patients, management of weapons and gear under threat. Students will conduct patient evaluation, utilizing S-MARCH/5-B’s sequence of treatment with corrective intervention and support. Additionally, students will learn to recognize and treat shock, as well as participation in hands-on practical scenarios that require them to utilize the skills they have learned under stress.
