I bet these are the returns from couples months back when they sold a bunch of them. Update: a rep from AIM said these are not the returns, I have always thought of AIM as a stand up company to deal with.

Very good idea, just did it. After speaking with a rep. from S&W he even said if you find them online get em. They have been back ordered for 5 months now. Why would they even take an order they know they could not fill???????????????

If the bolt matches no worry's. I think this headspace stuff is a bit overrated. Them old rifles can take a lot of abuse.

I would vote no only reason being is a long gun is more of an offensive weapon where a pistol is more of a defense weapon. I will be interested to see how others feel about this opinion. I know never bring a pistol to a rifle fight.

Please just do not pass everyone for the all mighty dollar. Some people have no business carrying a weapon (most do). I see some people that really are a danger to themselves and others.
