what a shame, back in the day you could not go wrong with craftsman. They always made good on any defective tool.  Even if you broke it from miss use.

I really like to hunt as well,  Found a few good old stuff but by far a couple of my coolest finds are a 1722 piece of 8 and a 1816 Fernando the VII Spanish Reale. Also found allot of Civil War bullets. another Edit:  I also found an Opal ring that my wife could not get it out of hands fast enough, 10 years later she still loves it.

If they have been touched by Bubba and not in a good way they are not worth much.  But we all must remember when Bubba got his hands on them many years ago he did not know any better.  If done by a modern day Bubba now that is worthy of punishment.  $150 is about tops what I would pay for a sporterized Enfield. I have some and do not pay more than 350-400 for numbers matching unmolested ones.  BTW they are some VERY fine rifles.

Growing up in the 70's I do not ever remember this type of lunacy? Have we as parents lost all control or are some parents just not paying attention?  

LEO do not need a carry permit, We must qualify with on and off duty weapons 2-3 times a year though.  at least in my neck of the woods.
