  1. Not to change the subject, but this should be titled:Flip flops are going to kill Y'ALL
  2. Okay, like any rational, level-headed, American man, whenever I see any part of a zombie movie(Dawn of the dead, 28 days later, etc) on TV, I daydream momentarily about what guns would I use in that situation. Then I see the commercial for rise of planet of the apes and I start to think "What in the world do you shoot an eight-hundred pound gorilla with?" 12 gauge slugs? 308? So, which would be worse:Zombies or apes? And there is no such thing as a zombie gorilla, that is just silly!
  3. I wear large/xlarge plaid button up shirts. I buy them at the goodwill for 2-5 bucks. I do not tuck them in. It hides my kahr p9 iwb very well, as long as I am not getting something off the top shelf. Not too tactical, very practical.
  4. Okay, I have been to some three guns, but never an "IDPA" style match. I think I need a cover garment? Is that just a shirt that covers my pistol? I think I am going to be able to make it, so I do not want to forget something that everyone else knows is standard.
  5. I have been to the last two three guns up there and 20 rounds in the rifle, full capacity on the pistol, and 8 in the shotgun(empty chamber) is how they have done them before.
  6. Ok, so I was in my local gun store after the gun show today and they had one of those commie 9x18 (mak) walther copies. CZ 82 maybe? Well I was looking at it for good truck gun/beater and I looked down the barrel and I swear there was absolutely no rifling whatsoever. I asked the owner and he ran a bore snake through it a couple of times and then got his light and looked, and looked, and tilted the light and looked again and basically said "I guess not." He said maybe the rifling had been shot out? First does that make this pistol some type of illegal short shotgun type thing? Second would it hit the broadside of a barn? Your thoughts would be appreciated and your sarcastic remarks will be tolerated;)
  7. Thanks! Your last three gun was alot of fun and I am looking forward to this one.
  8. As usual, I had a great time shooting at the MCTS match this weekend. As usual, I did a couple of dumb things that cost me a few seconds. As usual, I am checking their website every thirty minutes for the scores. Thanks so much for the match, it was great!!
  9. Awesome! looking forward to it!!
  10. Info? Stages? Bragging? Complaining?
  11. I have not forgotten the tactical rifle match. And I will also remember sunscreen. My neck was fairly red after the three gun.
  12. The three gun was terrific!! Thanks so much for putting it on!! I really enjoyed it and hope to make it to the next one.
  13. All the gear is loaded in the car and the gas tank is full. I am looking forward to this.
  14. The wife says I can go!! I think I read on the website a cover garment is not required?? Does anybody want to carpool from south Nashville??
  15. That sounds terrific. I hope I can make it. Can you be a little more specific about where you might differ from the idpa multigun rules? I read through them, and the belt I use is 2 inches wide. There are little things like that I am worried about tripping me up. And a cover garment? thanks!!
  16. Alright, I meant my "greedy bastards" comment as a very sarcastic joke. I do apoligize if anybody took it seriously. I meant no offense. I know many people put alot of time and effort and money into every event you all have. I do look forward to making it out more often. Please don't put me on the jerk list.
  17. Mehh, I would rather just complain and insult people through the anonimity of the internet. Seriously, the best way to tell when I am talking crap is when my lips are moving. Of course I understand you all have to make decisions like this. When I win the lottery I can sponsor all the shotgun matches I want, Correct??
