Most of the Cash America stores still sell guns, I think. And a pawn shop is certainly not a place to buy a handgun. But it seems like I always spot a good/reasonable deal on a shotgun.

Just a thought, but if I were looking for a cheap, beater, beginner shotgun, I would try some pawn shops. I usually see an old mossberg 500 for 150-170$ in most pawn shops. Good luck

Well I will be danged if one of these did not come home with me from the gun show today. I paid 399$ plus tax/tics. I like the way it looks, and sometimes I think it is kind of silly when people talk about how a gun looks. But this is clearly not one of those times. The OD looks good.
