  1. Needless to say, I did not see that.  Thanks At least the prices are still reasonable.
  2. I know some people do not like ProMag magazines.  But I love mine.  Specifically my 42 round AR-15 magazines.  They have functioned flawlessly in both of my DPMS rifles.  I use them for the little bit of competitive shooting I do.  I have not ever had a problem with them.  All of these mags that I own are black, but I am a flat dark earth fan, so when I saw some desert tan 42 round promag mags on Armslists for 80$, I thought "shucks, I did not know they made those in that color"  Of course, I think the word "Gouging" is an understatement.  So you can imagine my surprise when I happened onto the promag website and they showed them in-stock at less than 20$ apiece.  I ordered three this morning.  It looked like they had all kinds of AR-15 mags at reasonable prices.  I think the term is:Your Mileage May Vary, but I have had real good luck with these Promag Mags.  Now lets see how long they take to get here.
  3. And now they are out.
  4. What?  No Deliverance Jokes?
  5. Who really cares?  Why is this such a big news story?
  6. I cannot believe "TGO member" is not used.
  7. I think that is a great screen name.                                          Thanks, human being
  8. I have ordered two guns from Bud's and both times went fine.  Of course, that was pre-madness.  Hope it works out.
  9. It is about time!  I believe this will be my next pistol.  For carry, I am alternating between a keltec pf9 and a Springfield SC xd9.  This xds9 should bring together what I love about both of those pistols, while getting rid of the downsides.  I only have 9mm pistols, so the xds 45 was never a temptation, but now, I cannot wait to get my hands on one of these.
  10. Wow, thanks for the input.  1. Swapping barrels on a rifle is not that attractive to me, I only want to add one caliber 2.  I would want it to have a synthetic stock, so thanks greg 3.  I don't reload.  I probably won't start anytime soon. Are the savage axis and edge just too cheap? Nashville Armory has a ruger american in 308, and it was not wall to wall people tonight, so I handled it a few minutes. I might look at some pawn shops tomorrow.  Thanks
  11. So with all of the AR madness/pandemonium, I am tempted to get a bolt action rifle.  308 maybe?  In a dream world, I would take this thing hunting or to shoot coyotes somwhere, but realistically, I would probably just punch holes in paper a couple of times a year.  Give me some suggestions on brands and caliber.  I look on Bud's, and they have several bolt actions in 223/556.  It would be nice to not have to buy another caliber, but I am not that opposed to it.  Thoughts?
  12. If that is the crew that sets up in the back rightish with all the AR parts and uppers, I do not think they were there.
  13. I paid a little more than 77 dollars, but that news is good to here!
  14. I went, sold 200 rounds of 223 for 75 cents a round, a couple of 30 round mags, and bought a red dot that i had admired online.  A cheap Bushnell trs-25, but it should do nicely on my plinker,  I even walked out with more money than I had when I walked in.
  15. Will you make one that will fit a 40 ounce bottle?
  16. If they had any 223 ammo, how much was it?
  17. If I go, it will be just to sell some stuff.
  18. Okay,  what are you all's thoughts on whether to cash in on the pandemonium?  I am considering taking a few 30 rounders to the Nashville gun show tomorrow.  I could stand to let a few go.   Is it foolish?  I think the whole exec order or new laws thing could go a couple of ways:    1.  nothing really changes, so prices return to normal in a few weeks/months.  or at least within 15% of what they were.   2.  They pass something like the old AWB.  I am not sure, but under that, you could not sell anything outlawed, I think.   3.  They only make new manufacture of high-caps illegal, so mag prices will keep soaring.   What are yall's thoughts and what are ya'll doing?     Also, this is not some backdoor attempt to sell anything without benefactor status. I will not sell anything to anyone from here.  Do not PM me.
  19. Okay, so on Craigslists and here in the classifieds I see people trying to sell 30 round AR mags for 30 or 40 bucks. Are people really paying that much?
  20. Thanks, Michael, I hope I see you tomorrow.
  21. Man the weather looks ugly tomorrow.  If something changes for setup, just post it up here, otherwise I will bring my raincoat!
  22. Unless something unexpected happens, I will see you there.
  23. I love the idea of a shotgun and pistol match!  I certainly hope I can make it.
  24. I don't shut up, I grow up
