  1. ] I discovered that the pistol buffer tube isn't flat in the bottom like the magpul tube is, so the spring isn't sitting far enough back to allow the bolt to fully retract and engage the hold open. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I don't want to get off topic, but I am having a problem with the pistol buffer tube I bought to use on my AR until I get my stamp of approval. It's machined like a "V" shape in the bottom just enough to hinder the bolt from engaging the lock tab. Idk if I can somehow cut that down. Don't really wanna spend $30-$40 on something I'll only use 3-5 months. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. 3-4 months about? Here is build this far. Already removed the stock from the lower and put that pistol buffer so I can enjoy it assembled :D Still waiting on my bcg and charging handle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. $1000....I was hoping for more the $700-$900 range Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. Thanks for the replies. I went ahead and bought a set of Mile Marker lockers. If I get into the autos and nothing is broken, I might consider trying to just clean them and keep trucking, but most likely I'll just swap them out and save the original lockers in the box. 13. Haha yeah it's there. That's how I tested to see if it was locking in with the transfer case, which it does, so that left the hub lockers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Did who connect it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Actuator? This ain't a push button it's got an actual stick you pull. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Honestly I can't know for sure when it actually quit working because last year my transmission went out and so I didn't drive it in the snow...or much at all for that matter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Yeah I've been looking at the videos on the swap and I've thought about the pros/cons of manuals. I put it in 4wd and that locked the front drive shaft so it's got to be the hubs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I have a 1985 k10 silverado that the 4wd has stopped working. I've concluded that it's the automatic locking hubs for some reason or another. Anyone ever repair/un stick their auto hubs? I could put some warn manual lockers on it and be done with it, but you just don't see many 80s trucks with auto hubs.
  19. In case anyone is still following this, I got 90 pounds of meat off this deer. Figure double that probably was what it weighed dressed and so it puts it close to that 200 pounds; what I guessed it was to start with.
