    At the range...

Since I am a college student, I try to limit myself to no more than 50 rounds on anything I take.
  2. ^^ This.
  3. Thanks for the input.
  4. I want to get a red dot sight just for some fun. I may put it either on my SKS or the shotgun, but does anybody have one that can vouch for the brand? I have noticed on ebay that TruGlo has a "cheapie" for 69.99. Then, other brands have what appears to be the exact same thing, just without the logo, for cheaper. Any opinions? This is the TruGlo... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220803607009&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_1774wt_905 And this is the UAG... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370520707403&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_10626wt_1139 Is there anything different I am missing or are you just paying for the logo?
  5. Ok cool. Thanks Greg!
  6. Someone tell me if this link -> AmericanSpecialtyAmmo.com sells the real authintic dragons breath shells! :D :D :D I found this site just the other day...shouldve ordered some flares for the 4th.
  7. Dunno if this belongs here or in the class 3 section, but does anybody have any experience with these guys? http://eastcoastfirearms.com/
  8. Do elaborate. My great uncle has a model 94 and idk what the year on it is.
  9. I don't like that idea. I've never heard of of anybody assaulting someone with a bayonet on a rifle. I just want to have a complete firearm.
  10. So any idea where I might find a new one at a decent price?
  11. I bought a Norinco SKS and the lug on the barrel does not appear to be one that will mount a bayonet. Does anyone know if I can do anything about this? It appears the ends can be changed if you take out a pin, but I need an "expert" to advise me.
  12. Tac2 has alot of shooting space and all, but as I recall, it takes a 4 wheel drive to get in and out of the rifle range!
  13. Gotta have some justification for my DZSG
  14. Hello sah! Cheers from Greeneville.
  15. Does anyone have suggestions for a guy who is awaiting his permit in the mail? I don't know how I will like OC. I plan on doing the "Walmart Walk" at least once just because most everyone else on here does lol. I guess I will just have to see how comfortable I get with the idea of OC. I know my instructors for the permit class discouraged open carrying, and they have a good point about not drawing attention, but why should they immediately direct their opinions at us without showing the other side of the argument?
  16. What about low maintenance? Fires the enemy's round? The rest up there makes sense to me.

    Serial number

That has many more applications. Great idea.
  18. I like Uberti's 1847 Walker Colt replica. There's a cheap one on gunbroker.
  19. I would love to have an old cap and ball revolver. Maybe the one that you can get the cylinder conversion for and shoot 45 colt in. I cant remember the year of that of one.
  20. Well does anybody know what they originally did to address this chain fire in the 1800s? Surely they didn't lube the ends of their cylinders. I agree with Greg's argument upon seating the ball. That ought to be a good enough of a seal.
  21. Exactly. I know I wont save money in the long run because I will end up shooting more. It's just right now I dont like having to conserve ammo so much.
