I know about the B.S. 5 round limits the poor Canadian neighbors have...seems like any country originating or affiliated with Great Britain has ####ty gun laws. The thing is, I would have to choose between an M1 or the SVT because they are both in the same price range. I would pick the M1 first just because I need an American gun to add to my collection.

I have a Sears and Roebuck, J.C. Higgins bolt action 22 from the 40s or 50s I don't know. It's a model 103.16, and I understand that is is supposedly the same thing as a Marlin model 80...well I lost a pin in my yard that holds the bolt together. WELL...I have looked and looked but I cant find the pin anywhere that holds the two pieces of the bolt together anywhere on the internet. Can anyone help me out with this?

That is one of my recently acquired firearms. I am not familiar with how the 8x57r compares ballistically to the other rounds in these milsurps.

I went the diversity route...like I said, I want an M44...but I also want a K31, K98, SVT-40, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, 1903 Springfield, 1917 Eddystone Enfield, Lee Enfield Jungle Carbine, etc etc etc.... The list is on-going and grows almost every day!
