Apparently it's commanding a high price. Saw a crate listed for 500 on gb and another was up to 455 bid.

Are people still looking for this ammunition? I am unsure of what it’s worth, don’t ever plan on shooting it so...may decide to sell. This is the 7N6 ammo Obama had banned from importation.

These rifles were made with the regular infantry rifles and hand picked for the conversion by Holland and Holland is my understanding of it.

Walther Kriegsmarine SL single barrel flare pistol

Flare guns would be a legit thing to get into collecting. My favorite is the weird Japanese triple barreled model. -

Anybody shoot their older rifles much?
Ramjo replied to Quavodus's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
I used to shoot almost every weekend about 10 years ago. Now I’m lucky if I go out once every 6 months or so. -
Damn fine revolver! Recently inherit my great grandfathers colt police detective special with the family initials on it (my initials because I’m JAB the fourth!)

Thanks guys! My initial plans were to zero the scope and then go deer hunting with it this year, but I didn’t end up making it out to do either!

Yes it’s my parents view actually. Thanks!

Back in the early summer of 2018, I purchased a No4 Mk1 T off gunbroker that had no scope or mount, only had the mounting pads screwed into the receiver. I got a repro No32 scope and mount and still have yet to sight this thing in, but thought I would share. Rifle has the Holland and Holland stamps on the stock as it should, but neither the receiver nor the stock just behind the safety contain a serial number for a scope. Perhaps it just never had one issued?

I feel your pain. Although I am not a parent, I lived at home through the years of my sister growing through that age. She did a lot of the same, had a second phone we didn’t know about, too. A security system would have prevented her from sneaking out, but we just didn’t have it at the time. She finally got caught coming back in one night. Thankfully she never got pregnant and the douche she was nuts over cheated on her enough that she finally let that go and calmed down quite a bit. You seem like you have time to grab the situation by the reins before anything goes that far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I used a Bridgeport not a file lol. I have an uncle that said his 9mm can was pretty loud with just the straight through holes. He clipped his and said he could tell a difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

From what all I can tell on the form1 site, bore doesn’t affect the sound so much as length of the can and distance between the baffles. I pretty well had my brain scrambled looking through it all last night. Also trying to decide how I will clip the baffles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I looked on the form1 board and found my answer... .060 over bullet size. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a kit purchased from diversified machine, and yes I already have the stamp to be drilling holes. I am wondering what size holes everyone has had luck with out of their builds? Should I just make all 6 baffles the same size or start small and end larger? I’ve read some articles that say .250 is too small and others that say .300 is fine and won’t make it any louder. I was thinking about a 9/32 (.281) size all the way through. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you don't already have a Swedish mauser, they are on par with the k31s and m39s Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do yourself a favor and buy a little bit of the Swiss milsurp ammo to try in it(if not already) it's great stuff! All of the Swiss rifles are selling for high dollar bids here recently. It's for sure one you want to keep. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have an m27 but unfortunately, I believe there is a hairline crack in the locking lug recess in the receiver. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yup. And don't forget, 45 versions of the Luger were made for the military trials when the 1911 was adopted. Savage also entered the trials with a scaled up pistol and mauser scaled up a variation of their 1910 pistol as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I guess I'm a glutton for punishment because I like a gun that has a stout recoil impulse. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Interesting! Those 59s are high dollar! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm Ramjoe and I'm here to tell you all that I am a milsurp nut! But seriously, if you want a bruised shoulder, lay down that m44 and pick up a Steyr M95 straight pull carbine. 8x56r in a package slightly smaller yet lots lighter than the m44. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Adding that one expensive firearm to the collection...

LOL I did joke that I need to go to yard sales if I ever want to find one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
