  1. Well I figured out I can just copy his pictures of it to here.
  2. I'll post pics when I get it. I just won it on GB last night...while I was sleeping. No one else even bid on it. Guess they only care about the Springfields and RI models.
  3. I came across a nice looking Remington 03A3 on gunbroker. It's not import marked, never been a drill rifle or welded, and it has a 12-43 dated barrel.   The serial number is 420****. I am not familiar with the serials that are dangerous to fire due to the poor metallurgy of certain date ranges, but I assume since there is a ww2 barrel on it that I wouldn't get a bolt shot back into my face from the receiver shearing off.   Can you shoot any modern .30-06 ammo in these? I assume, since they are a bolt gun, that they are not susceptible to damage like the M1 Garand rifles.
  4. Very Nice!
  5. We build each unit to spec per the customer. Toro gets a certain type, MTD, Exmark, Scag, Moridge, John Deere, CAT etc. We don't just build the transmissions and the pumps, we also do power steering columns and other stuff. I'm fairly new so I am still learning alot about all of it. We have product on everything from the military's recovery vehicles to garbage trucks, bailers, spreaders, combines, you name it. We even make the pump for those stationary wave pools that simulate actual swimming haha. Another division of Parker makes some type of gasket that goes in the iphones!
  6. I work at Parker, we build the UHT transmissions that go in the Toros.
  7. Scott used to work here in Greeneville. He came back just a week ago and was featured in the paper and all that jazz...he says he misses living here, but he's not ready to quit his job yet.

Unplugging it and powering off/on does nothing different. It has been turning itself off and on tho when I left it on...

    TV Woes

Well, I have had the TV for quite some time now...come to think of it, it may be going on 4 or 5 years old. I had read the life expectancy of plasmas was 10-15 years. Obviously, lightening can greatly shorten that.

    TV Woes

Came back home this evening to a non functioning tv. We had a storm and there was reportedly one loud pop of lightening close by. Everything is plugged into one of these fancy $100 power strips, and everything else seems to work fine. The tv will turn on with the remote, but just sits on a black screen. It won't respond to any other buttons on it or the remote. Hitting the power button results in the thing turning off and then back on after a delay. No blinking lights of death. It's a panasonic viera plasma tv.   The internet says it could be fried capacitors, but these usually require having some form of blinking light or weird noises coming from the tv. Any ideas?
  13. The Scout Oath is: On my honor I will do my best, to do my duty to GOD and my country. To obey the scout law, to help other people at all times, and to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and MORALLY STRAIGHT. Scouting was started in 1910 and it was certainly surrounded by Christian values. Society today is just corrupting every good thing there ever was.
  14. Wtf is with all the bread on cat heads?
  15. I noticed when I shot it the other day that I could move the front sight post ever so slightly.

  19. Yeah same here. Whole dash. I started it and then let it sit in pieces for a week before i put it all back together. Saved about $600.

  21. thanks. I wouldn't have known what it was if one of my friends didn't have his.
  22. Nice. I got to looking around at accessories, cause I like to buy bayonets for all my milsurps, and I found original thread protector caps as well as slip on front sight hoods that were used. Wonder why I have never seen a Swedish mauser for sale with any of these on the gun?
