  1. Thank ya sirs. That bayo is for a Greek m1 carbine. I bought that off him too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The M1 Garand. I will post pics asap, but here are a few little details.  It's a 964xxx serial number Springfield receiver. Has a VAR barrel. All the other parts are SA stamped.  Came with original stock with the cartouche, but the stock fitted to it is one the previous owner bought and kinda refinished a bit. I like it.   I also came out with 60 clipped rounds of black tip armor piercing and 16 clipped rounds of M2 ball.
  3. Love it. I am thinking about ordering one of the sniper mosin packages that wideners has to offer. Any input? waste of money? It's $569
  4. Classic Firearms is a great website. They have good prices on just about everything.
  5. Now supersize it
  6. Here is mine from this past weekend. Made 12-43.
  7. Wow you weren't kidding when you said you were gonna make one.
  8. That's good enough reason. Scopes piss me off. They need to make them as simple as irons.
  9. I know the title says 1903A3, but why not just put the scope on it and make it an A4?  :stare:

    Season 4

Remember Rick escaped from those guys a few episodes back.
  11. Saw this pop up. Did they say if any Americans were on board?
  12. I'm hitting an 8" plate at 300 yards iron sights with Korean milsurp ex-machine gun belted ammo.
  13. I have a longbranch too! 1942 dated I think. Same color finish as yours too.
  14. My 1903a3 is dang accurate!
  15. The trigger pull on my particular model is great I think. It's light and has very little creep.
  16. I have heard that.
  17. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80TVgFoNMt0   I picked up this nice little gun this morning! Spontaneous purchase that I am very pleased with, very rock bottom price.   A few details for those who do not know; this gun was used during the cold war. It is chambered in the 7.62x25 tokarev round, at the urging of the Russians. This particular one was made in 54, the last year of production for this pistol. Single action only, with a positive safety and an iffy de-cocker. It has a roller bearing mechanism similar to the HK pistols. Very robust gun. Very accurate for me thus far. I fired about 25 rounds through it total.
  18. Sounds like you're in about the same predicament as I am. I really REALLY need to buy a safe, but at the same time I am wanting an M1 Garand.
  19. I thought a small block was a small block. Same size just different bore? This truck won't be doin any heavy off-road. Probably a pavement princess. It's too long for the winding narrow mountain trails here.
  20. Now those are some heavy duty axles! A friend of mine said he would just bore and stroke that 305 to a 383 if I plan on keeping it, which I do. Just not sure what order to go in on all this...guess the heart of the truck is the motor so it needs to be first.
  21. I've got 3 vehicles to rotate between so I can spread out the gas usage. I won't be near as concerned about it after I get topped out at my job. I work 60 hours or more a week so all that overtime has left me with something to play with.
  22. Now I like your thinkin with the cam...I just don't know what else goes with it. Do I need different rods or anything else special? Oh wait...just saw the kit available...
  23. Thanks. Both the trucks are special. The orange one my papaw bought brand new in 72 and the blue 85 was my great uncles and he passed away last year. I'm just now getting a chance to acquire the truck. I couldn't sell it. I've wanted it since he got it.
  24. I've got a jeep. I just want a jacked up truck. I've never had a jacked up truck and the girls round here love it lol so....   And btw, that blue paint job is a $700 barn job that has cracks and runs...nothing special up close.
