I hit the road early today looking for a truck for my son. I put 400 miles on the Wing riding up North of Knoxville, around in Knoxville and Lenoir City, Athens, Vanore and .....it was a good day of riding. No truck, but the riding was good. Gonna pick a different direction tomorrow.  Maybe Cookville and Crossville areas.  It's been a while since I've been up that way.  I really like doing that sometimes. I've seen a lot of things for sale in peoples yards. Cars, boats, trailers, RV's, lawn mowers, you just never know.  I saw 3 really nice CJ jeeps for sale today riding up Hwy 11.

I didn't think it was that bad actually. A lot better than what we have here in Chattanooga. While looking around for Davids table, I saw quite a bit of handgun ammo at quite fair prices. I didn't see much 22lr though. Nobody else had even close to David's quantity of supplies, nor prices.  I know when I left, between the entrance and the exit door on the end there was a sizable single line of folks holding rifles, shotguns and so forth. I suppose it was the personal sales line.

Benghazi alone wouldn't go anywhere. But, with the AP and the IRS scandals, there is hope.  IF the GOP don't' sit on their hands and wait on someone to do something.

Maybe....just MAYBE....the media is seeing Obamahoo as OLD NEWS.  Sadly though, they may just swing their force field of protection across Hillary and run for the finish line in 2016.

This makes me worry about newbies buying firearms without getting any training on shooting safety at all.  Then, going to a range and someone getting killed.  This would be instant fodder for the anti gun crown.

I had something similar happen to me at Prentice Cooper Game Reserve shooting range.  Guy walks up with a completely worn out and jammed German Luger.  I cleared it and told him that pistol really don't look safe to me.  He came up the second time bitch'n and had the gun pointing at my gut.  I took it out of his hands, told my wife to pack our chit, after she got everything packed up I told her to head to the truck.  After she was out of the range area, I cleared it the second time unloaded the mag and handed the pistol, cartridges, and pistol back to him with strong worded encouragement to pack it in.......I've never been back.

I agree. That was the reason I put the limiter of "some" in there. I'm sure those that vote for a living are exactly like you said. But I do hope these things change the mind of enough voters to make some changes.

But why would a bluing kit be on a restriction? I don't even have to show ID for ammo if I pay cash.

I snagged a couple thousand primers and an 8lb jug of Unique from David's table. I was pleased.

I read that OS....really didn't surprise me though. He don't give a damn what America thinks. His worshipers don't give a damn what he does. It's all good in their eyes. Bottom line? America gets screwed.

LOL....I like it.  This 72 virgin thing and the promise of paradise gives these Jihad bunch an invincible feeling and eliminates the fear of death. Bullets coated with pig fat might just level the playing field.  Make them run like rats in a NY sewer.

At my current rate of shooting practice, I've got enough for a couple of months, around 600 rounds I guess of my favorite calibers.  I could afford to buy much more. I'm gonna wait though and hope things settle down in the reloading market.  That's where I'm heading.
