Here's the sight that greeted me a couple of hours ago at the Academy Sports on Hwy 153 in Chattanooga

Remember when an attractive conservative woman warned...

I bet if it was the daughter of Sebellius she'd suspend it. However. Organ donations can save lives and I am an organ donor. Too many people don't sign up as organ donors. To me that's a real shame. -
Machines work, no matter what brand I think and humidifiers are a must for me....the important part is the mask.I've tried many masks over the past 10 years. The Mirage Vista is all I use now. It' works great for me and I use mine 100% of the time. Even for a nap. I've taken my machine all over the country just as others have stated. It's the first thing I pack and check to see that it's all there. By the way. Sleep Apnea is what killed Reggie White. Untreated and it will shorten your life considerably. Not to mention make your life completely miserable. I was lucky I guess but I slept like a baby from the first night I got my machine. I love it. I fall right to sleep and sleep all night long. No snoring. No waking up with a mouth and tongue so dry they would rattle against each other....LOL

Thug down, thug down! <not for the faint of heart>

Got what he deserved. -
I honestly think debt at every level of government is the next bubble to bust. Many cities and counties are really bankrupt in the true meaning of the word. Sometime in the near future, that river of debt that's been pushed up river's gonna come crashing in. It ain't gonna be pretty when it does.

Cudos to Dad for exposing her to a great sport.........BUT, you do have a special daughter there and she deserves the credit. I learned long ago you can't make a child enjoy a sport just because you do and it's quite apparent she loves shooting! -
In my thinking, throughout America's history Capitalism has been as responsible for our growth, our strength and our freedoms as a nation and world power as anything. Obama hates Capitalism. His father hated it. Many of those Socialist minds that mentored him in his developmental years hated it. Obama has spent years studying with these people, collaborating and looking for a way to create a crack in the system we've had to begin the "Change". I think this article describes perfectly the "Hammer and Chisel" that has hastened the process of transformation from one system to another. Of course I do understand that this attempted transformation has been in the works for years through the growth of governmental and it's regulation of businesses controlling what and how they can perform their functions and even how they can grow and be successful. However, this has been a slow process. Obama has hastened this process and I think this article says it to a "T" http://www.americanthinker.com/2013/06/the_smoking_gun_in_plain_sight.html

Anti-Muslim Speech Can Be Punished
Randall53 replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Remember back a couple of years ago that pastor in Florida Jerry Jones burned a koran and he's not been charged with a crime. Even Obama said he had the right to do it, but hoped that he wouldn't due to the dangers it could impose on our troops in Islamic countries. I do agree though, things are getting more crazy in this country a little more each day. -
Ok thanks...that makes a lot of sense. I'm sure the fun far out weighs a few rounds of brass anyway..LOL
-
I've enjoyed watching all the videos being posted on the various matches and a question popped into my head....what about brass? If you're a reloader, are you allowed to pick up your brass after shooting a round or do you lose it? I'm sure the matches move pretty quick and this would take up time, so what's the answer?

Calling all bikers!!! What do you have/had?!

Great looking bike TGR!! I love the nomads. I wanted one so bad several years ago but couldn't find one and bought an 1500 intruder. I never got the nomad. I have a friend that's wanting a bike really bad to ride with me and my wife (goldwing) and that's the bike I recommended for him. He's a BIG dude, but has never rode. I told him to buy it, I'd ride it home and he could practice in my neighborhood until he was ready to take the safety course. He's quite a bit younger than me, but a great guy. I told him he wasn't riding with me until he took the Safety Course. I've took it 3 times and highly recommend it to new riders especially, plus you can get your license stamped for MC during the course. I've always found it's better to buy the bike you want and learn to ride it than to buy a POS little bike and wish you'd bought a bigger one in 3 months or less. The Nomad is THE bike for cruis'n........ -

When I first read this thread today, I was sitting in the Bellbuckle Cafe about 2:30. My wife and I rode over to have a late lunch and enjoy a day on the Goldwing. We met a couple there that was riding a trike, and he was an Air Force veteran, about my age (60). Very nice couple and we had a grand time outside of the Cafe just shooting the breeze. We had a nice conversation about our 19 year old son who is in the Army National Guard (2 years just signed up for 6 more) and making a career out of it as soon as he finishes college (on their dime). I tried to post a pic, but no access at Bellbuckle apparently. So....we decided to do some more riding and stumbled up on a nice, quiet place.......does this ring a bell with anyone? Okay...if that don't ring a bell maybe this will: Or this: Yep....we toured the Jack Daniels Distillery........an amazing feat. Making so much whiskey from one little old spring..... It was a great day for riding. Not too hot. Not too cold. put about 350 miles on the Wing and it was good. And YES...that's a TGO sticker on the windshield of the Goldwing.....LOL -
My mom used to say if you go to the doctor, they'll find something wrong that needs fix'n......getting her to the doctor took 2 weeks in preparation, most of it convincing her to go. Not going to the Doctor got her though in the end.....she was 86. I will say I could not have hand picked a better mom though. She's been gone now 6 years and I think of her every day.

I went along for the ride with a friend to the 153 wally world today. They had no 22lr.....nor any other ammo outside of shotgun shells. The manager probably sells it all on GB...LOL

But Obama says: "If we can save just ONE child, we should take that step." In other words, he's using the children as a catalyst for his dreams from his father.... "give up your rights, your freedoms and your lives for the good of society.....and trust your government to take care of you."

Troubling news for the Trayvon Martin camp
Randall53 replied to DaveS's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Seems that way....along with food, clothes, medical, dental, housing...you know, all the things the taxpayer can barely afford for themselves and their families. Oh... I almost forgot about all the illegal drugs, prostitutes, lawyers and chit the working taxpayer don't have time for since since he/she works for a living rather than votes for a living. -
Will this get me a 25 on the skeet range? LOL.....Dayum.....I've been shoot'n and hunt'n for 45 years, but ya'll are so far over my head I feel like a neanderthal spear chucker....from New York City!! :stare:

I've made it a habit to take the motorcycle safety course every 4 or 5 years. It's good to get reminded of the proper technique. One of the best things to remember is this: Look where you WANT to go, not where you're going or at the obstacle in the road, or even the side of the road you think you're going. Years of experience has taught me this......Where ever your eyes are looking is exactly where that front wheel will go if it's possible....whether you realize it or not. Even when things are going wrong, keep the eyes glued to the escape route. If it's physically possible, you will make it to it.
