Best eating establishments in Middle - East Tn area?
Randall53 replied to Randall53's topic in General Chat
Well, if I counted right, there's 52 places to eat on the list I'm making. I'll keep adding them if people keep posting them. I've added Marvins in Fayetteville country cooking place with good chicken and catfish I heard about recently. Went by there Sunday while riding but they were closed on vacation the sign said. I was marking the location on my GPS and 3 cars drove up and asked were they closed within about 5 minutes. They all seemed disappointed. Must be a good place. I also added the Riverside Catfish House on 41 hwy...that's a local place to Chattanooga. -
I saw the YouTube video for the first time today at work on a buddy's iPhone. That really cracked me up. No way did that woman have a clue what she was reading. If she did she would have never have gotten through it with that straight of a face. She was kinda dense though not to pick up on it I suppose...lol

I'm wanting to start a list of really great places to eat in the Middle and East Tn areas. I'm thinking East of I-65. Not fancy expensive type places really, but just a place you love to go when you're really wanting something to satisfy like no other place can type of good. Maybe it's steak, seafood, great home cooking, best hamburger, best bar food, best catfish, best Bar-B-Que you've ever had type of places. Unique places would work too. Just places you think of when your best bud, or favorite cousin comes to town. Ya know? When this project is finished, I'll make a list with the names and addresses and maybe email them to anyone that wants in on the list. Ready....Set....GOOOO!!!! :yum: :yum: :yum: :yum: :yum: :yum: OK.....I've already thought about this and edited to include the entire state.....Not fair to our great members in the Western part of our great state!!!

Tennessee is a right to work state which I thought meant employers don't have to have a reason to "let you go". Business Owner: "Chip said you have a really nice 1911 in your car. I love those things can I see it?" You: "Sure...here it is.." Business Owner: "Beautiful Pistol. I have one almost like it at home......Oh by the way. I no longer need your services here at ABC Widgets. Here's your check and termination slip."

Zimmerman Trial: Verdict Reached!

Bernie is still on his soap box. -
I think the jury has at least one very smart cookie sitting in that room and is making sure they are covering their butts. Why? Because of the political BS that has been poured all over it like tar on a pancake. Think about this.... 1. Many analyst on Z's side were saying on Friday that "the jurors will be sleeping in their own beds tonight. The prosecution failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this case was anything other than SD". In reality this was the probably the wrong case to spend 3 hours in deliberations and come out with a verdict. This would send the message that 6 southern white women had their minds made up before the trail was even over. Face it. This IS THE WORLD WE LIVE IN NOW. 2. By asking for a complete inventory of items of evidence they made a statement that they wanted to be thorough in their search for the complete truth, and hopefully lessen the fallout of not finding him guilty of 2nd degree murder. 3. By asking for an explanation of the charge of manslaughter, they are showing they are considering ALL evidence and ALL charges. Just my opinion.....which really don't mean crap.
