Looking in the MIRROR...!!!!!

The handwriting is on the wall guys....What we have, is a group of people in power that have finally reached the point that they can carry out an old plan to bring this country to its knees. They have bought their way into these positions of power by siphoning our hard earned money out of our pockets, being those that actually WORK for our living, using it to bribe the masses into swapping their freedoms for a meaningless existence of servitude. They have been able to increase their voting base with empty promises that posterity is right around the corner, just give us a little more time. In the meantime, they continue to grow the voting base by writing laws that will allow millions of additional people here illegally to become voting citizens knowing that they are just a very few short years away from having total control of the country and everybody that lives in it. I'll be totally honest here and say that I really don't think the tide can be turned now. Too many of our conservative "leaders", who were our only hope, are now eunuchs with rings in their noses.....Trophies of an elite Liberal agenda quickly heading towards Socialism and eventually Communism when the right leader takes the reigns. PRAY for our children.....

Paper That Printed Gun Owner Addresses Fires Editor

That was a while back....sounds like they let her find another job before they cut her loose... -
I wonder how many will vote....
Randall53 replied to Randall53's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
That's really not a bad strategy if enough people did it. Say there's no strong front running conservative, then get a bunch of to vote for the weak Dimocrat in primary elections then vote conservative in the main election. Manipulate the opposing parties front runner....lol. Damn...so THAT'S what the Libs have been doing all this time. That and voting 3 or 4 times each. -

I think you hit the nail on the head, OS. He needs to come out of the closet. It's easy to see he bleeds blue. He may as well grab Hilliary's skirt......he's blubbered all over BHO'S shoulder. That's a big contrast to the verbally combative Christie of a year or so ago. Personally I'd like to see many RINO's forcefully retired in November. Won't happen though unless something gets the base conservatives panties in a wad between now and then. If whats happened in the past 4.5 years don't do it, I'd say nothing will. -
For Hilliary just because she's a woman. Just like the millions that voted for Obama just to be a part of "history"? Talk about being groomed....!!!! http://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/11/opinion/sunday/dowd-madam-president.html?_r=0

Well, after that video, I'd say everyone that orders a pair of those has a drone assigned to follow them everywhere they go.....LOL...

It's amazing how many ways the obama's can find ways to blow our money. Of course it doesn't bother those that vote for a living and have free phones, free housing, free food, free medical and since they don't pay taxes and would rather live off of us that DO have jobs.... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/barackobama/10236302/First-dog-Bo-is-airlifted-to-Obama-holiday-home.html

Personally, I have all the respect in the world for every good cop that hits the street each day. I've been stopped a few times for speeding but not stupid fast and usually it just creeped up on me. I've gotten a ticket about half the time, and the other half have received a warning to slow down. I have a scanner for weather mostly, and as a toy to listen to aircraft since I live close to the airport, but sometimes I do listen to the police. They do have to deal with some real bozos and its a hard job no doubt. Is easy to sit back and read these stories and imagine what happened and then pass judgement on these men and women, but not being there or seeing video of what happened, that's not really fair. There are some really bad cops too. I've only been stopped twice though by what I consider crooked cops. I still shudder to think where a stop on me and my wife was heading in Miami by a dade county cop a couple of years ago until a Fl State Trooper stopped and walked up. It's a long story, but that Dade county cop suddenly wanted us out of there the instant the trooper walked up. I really wanted to talk to the trooper, but my wife said just leave.....now. So I did.

At last....an organizaton with BACKBONE
Randall53 replied to Randall53's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I agree with what you said Wheelgunner, but a lot of people have gone to prison for shooting an assailant before these laws were passed that stopped the stupid requirement to retreat or run away in the face of a threat. They have great merit in our violent society and protect those of us that are to old to run or too feeble to fight. -
AT LEAST WE HAVE ONE ORGANIZATION IN THE USA THAT HAS SOME BALLS AND A BACKBONE..!!!!! http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/08/09/Florida-s-Sheriff-Association-backs-the-State-s-Stand-Your-Ground-Law

I think they should have stuck to their guns, so to speak. "Following the Yelp posting, the sign at the restaurant that provided the dress code has reportedly been taken down." Keep the dress code. You may gain a lot more patrons, desirable ones at that, than you lose.

I tried this several years ago, but found it's just not that easy for some people and I was one of the hard ones to find info on. I used online genealogy sites as best I could and one you had to pay for. I tried census records, military, birth etc.......and I found out that in my case, it was going to take a LOT of leg work and travel involved, especially on my mothers side. Not exactly a pastime affair. If you can find yours from the comfort of your living room, count yourself lucky. It didn't work in my situation and was much harder and expensive than I figured it was going to be.

Hello Jeremy. Welcome to TGO. You've certainly picked the right place to learn about firearms and reloading. I learn something just about every day on here.

"The news told today(CNN) that this was a rumor and that the Smithsonian confirmed it was just a rumor." Don't surprise me at all. Won't be the last time ABC News has spread a rumor......or an outright lie as far as that goes....That's for Freak'n sure....

I read that. They are WAY outside the box on that idea!! -
There's just no honesty left in the world.....Jeez.... :drama:

I have a 34 and I'm playing with the idea of doing something to help the trigger a bit. I'm not really looking for a super competition rig mainly because I'm not and never gonna be at that level. I really just want a little less weight, and a bit more smooth action. A bit more crisp of a break would be nice. I saw this Glocktriggers.com website, but $150 bucks is a bit much for me unless it was really something special. Any ideas?
