Is this show worth an hour and a half drive ? I'll make the trip if it's a good show.

I need to plug into the vast knowledge of TGO yet again. I have just bought a 452 military trainer with huge steel sights. If you own or have seen one, you know what I mean. I want to mount a Mueller 4x16x50 on it but I'm wondering if I'll be able to find any rings tall enough for the scope to clear. Also, I'd like to get see through rings to be able to shoot open sights if I want to without removing the scope. Has anyone here got this setup on a CZ 452 trainer?

Is spelling and punctuation a thing of the past?
Randall53 replied to Westwindmike's topic in General Chat
Yep....it's going to be a dying art. It seems http://dailynightly.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/09/08/20388506-technology-may-script-an-end-to-the-art-of-cursive-writing -
Is spelling and punctuation a thing of the past?

Gone the way of cursive writing I suppose. -
This is what carry. I like it very much. "Enjoy each day like it's your last. In today's world, it just might be!"

Awesome..! I knew I could count on TGO for a solution!

What can y'all tell me about this subject? I have a new CZ452 and read too much lately about this and I swear even the articles by the pros are confusing. How important is this topic if you plan on shooting local competition and want to get all the accuracy possible out of a 22LR? Thanks for any opinions

Boehner is a train wreck, especially with budgets
Randall53 replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The liberals want socialism and Obama wants to kill capitalism and they will never give up nor compromise on that fact. They know they have the media in their pocket and the poor, the unions and a the unemployed middle class, and all the "uninformed" voters, on a string called "entitlements" or a bleeding heart mentality which is their voting block. This is their plan. They can get anything and everything they want one compromise at a time. This is how the political yardstick has moved so far to the left already, by compromise through the years by weak conservatives that have no stomach for a fight and only their best interest at heart. it's always the right that's forced to give in and made to look like they are the uncompromising party by the liberal owned media, even though it's the other way around. They know the bulk of conservatives will fold when slammed by the media who sees to it that the right gets blamed for everything that goes wrong. The right will end up being blamed for Obamacare even though not one republican voted for it. Every time the right compromises, the entire yardstick moves a little more left. Give them 1/4 of what they want 4 times and they've got it all. Like it or not, everything that's happened the past 5 years has taken us a great deal closer to their goal. Would a hard line drawn in the sand take them down? Maybe so 15 years ago. But not anymore. Our "Conservative" reps, using the term loosely, don't have the nads for it and many are standing smack dab where middle of the road liberals stood 15 years ago. Freedom as we know it is in very dire trouble....right where Obama wants it to be. -
I do miss the old landlines and the telemarketers....I really had a blast with them back in the day.

I really do love the Glocks...any of 'em. Pick'em up and shoot. Pick 'me up outta the mud and shoot. Pick 'me up outta the snow/ice/water and shoot....( from tests I've seen....never done it in real life, but it's nice to now I could...) no safety to think about, just pick it up and shoot. I have a 30 to carry and a 34 for IDPA. Wish I had a 40...... Not yet but soon......very soon I hope.

Constitutional Amendment Convention Gaining Momentum
Randall53 replied to gun sane's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
In today's political climate I'd be afraid it would end in a very bad way. -
Dang, hate to hear that. I came a hair away from doing the same thing one time with a pistol, but was able to catch it withy leg against the truck seat. Hope the damage was slight.
-
I'm glad to hear that Chris. In my research, I read a few reports that said accuracy of the 455 had suffered slightly for the ability to change barrels/calibers. I'm thinking about a 455 varmint, depending on how well this 452 shoots.
-
Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping I luck up and get one that's above average in accuracy...like who wouldn't LOL That it is! I saw it on another forum while looking at CZ's, but it seemed to be confirmed by other posters and thought I'd add it here in case others have a CZ wish list. I did read an article that's they are going forward on all of the 22LR bolt actions with only the 455's

I read that CZ was discontinuing a lot of guns. One listed was the 452. I've read many comments about the 452 and the extreme accuracy of the rifle. I remember gas wars in the 60's. You could buy gas during these gas wars for 16 to 20 cents a gallon. Normal prices were less than 25 cents a gallon.
