  2. Brietbart article http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2014/02/05/Congress-Will-Not-Fund-UN-Arms-Treaty-Implementation
  3. MI-3......YES. Excelent part and he played it great!
  4. Same here. Thankfully my wife loves my Glock 34. If I'm working night shift, she has 17 rounds of Hornandy critical defense by the bed.
  5. Good advice Frankmaco. Thank you. I was looking at speed loaders yesterday at academy. I'll be getting a couple very soon.
  6. Broncos..!!!!!
  7. I wonder how these guys will handle the recall? Or is winchester doing it all. Looks like 10 cents a round is the magic number no matter how many thousands of rounds you buy.
  8. I have a 642. I really like this revolver. No hammer to hang which is great for pocket carry in summer, light weight and it shoots great. it is very light weight and it does does "excercise" the wrist, but I have no problem shooting 50 rounds or so of +P at the range gloveless, but more than that, which is rare for me, I'll use a glove due to recoil. For this reason, my wife hates it and will only shoot it 10 or 12 times and she's done. I have an inside waist band galco that makes carrying the 642 nice and tight against the side in summer (I normally carry in the pocket of cargo shorts in summer and it hides very well), and I have a Blackhawk Serpa paddle that I really like to use when I carry it in winter with cover. Either way, it's very light and easy to "forget" you have it with you.
  9. Another thing that would help is for the walmarts Academys etc....and similar stores to not broadcast times that Ammo will be received, or even times they will be put on shelves.
  10. I think b189 needs to be wrapped in tin foil.

    Walther PPK

I have a PPKS (stainless) in 380. It's a great shooting piece and very reliable. It's actually in my carry ensemble, depending on where I'm going, since it concealed so well.
  14. God forbid.......I hope!
  15. I tried.....li really did. But i was afraid of dehydration from the puking at every lying statement that lying dick made..

  19. Take action.....here's what we are up against: http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/2014/jan/23/tennessee-gov-bill-haslam-has-major-concerns-guns-/
  20. I just read this article on a site from ammoland. I'm wondering if this is anywhere near the truth? “Take for example .22LR ammunition. The industry as a whole (all manufacturers combined) is setup to produce 4,200,000,000 (4.2 Billions) .22 LR annually. That is running all the machines, full capacity all the time, all manufacturers together. There is NOTHING they can do to produce more. That corresponds to 230,137 cartridge per State per day, which is 460 bricks of 500 .22lr per day per State. That means that if less than 50 people per day in each State are buying 10 bricks of .22, it is enough to dry up the entire supply as it is being manufactured.” I think the last sentence should have read "if 153 people in each state buy a store imposed limit of 3 boxes each day, this will dry up the entire supply as it's manufactured." At any rate this does make a lot of sense if true.
  21. I've been reading this thread the last few days and I was bored today so I went to a couple of stores in my area just to see what was going on at the ammo counter sand there was no sign like that. But then there was not much ammo either....1 box of 45 and 1 box of 250 rnd 9mm. Plenty of shotgun ammo though.

  23. Ask her just how is it these "regulars" always know when to be there "every time she sets out new stock".
  24. I've looked at several news Connecticut news sources and it appears gun owners had months to get the registrations done and not like the law passed with only a very short time to allow citizens to get it done.  This fact and such a low turnout seems to point to a huge number simply not willing to comply. Passing an amnesty law to try to get more to comply may not work. It might get a few, but this seems to be an instance of organized firearm owners drawing a line.
  25. I just don't understand people who leave a firearm in a vehicle overnight, or anytime They're not occupying the vehicle as far as that goes.
