Everywhere but work. Nukes don't take kindly to firearm possession by employees.

I use a double edge I've had for years, shave brush from Walgreens, any shave cream under $3. Every now an then a Styptic pencil to slow the flow of blood.

LOL....that is just funny. I don't care who you are you gotta laugh at that. Here's a great skit of Oliver from the John Boy and Billy Show about the French and war. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3fttjTADAA

I'd love to make this, but I'll be working night shift and overtime for a month starting this coming Sunday night. Maybe I'll get to catch the next one. I'm sure this will be a very enjoyable ride. It's hard to beat that area.

Not sure on pricing, haven't been there in a while. Here's there Facebook page though. Give them a call. They are very helpful. They are now a Dillion dealer also. https://www.facebook.com/montlakeclays -
Diawa Laguna 2000 5bi is a great inexpensive open face spinner. I have 3 of them for crappie, shellcracker, blue gill and so forth. They are great little reels and cost around $50. I highly recommend them. Very smooth and all the adjustments are in the right place.

Well, thanks for all the input!! After researching a lot of mentions above, I've been most impressed for my little 'ol hobby with the Yamaha THR10. If it's anything like the You Tube videos I could whang away for years on my geetar with one of those. I saw several on ebay for less than $200 used. I like the idea of using headphones and not bothering anybody else. Thanks again to everyone. edited to say: Playing like I do for my own enjoyment, I'll not be needed the Crate. Maybe I could sell it and help pay for the Yamaha.

I've shot at Montlake quite a bit over the years. Good place for sporting clays. Craig and Dawn are good people. You will enjoy yourself. -
I've always messed around with guitars. Years ago I played some Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Allman Brothers etc...I do have a Washburn Les Paul copy with an old Crate amp that's fun to mess with. I'm not a an highly accomplished player, but I stil like to pick out songs. What I'm after is something I could find in a pawn shop or craigslist that i could plug in that will provide the fuzz and sustain used back in the 70's. What's a rather inexpensive way to do this? I've looked at the new equipment but it all seems to be high tech and way over the top for what I want or need. Any suggestions?

Lynchburg is always good riding. The Bell Buckle Cafe has some pretty good eats.

Minn. man convicted of murder in home invasion
Randall53 replied to midtennchip's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
He is guilty in my eyes. I'd have voted guilty on that jury. He could have held them for police. They were unarmed. They were in the wrong, but he went way over on this. -
It's a good area, but there are many places that are good on Chickamauga right now. Lots of pressure though. It seems there's a big tournament just about every weekend now. The boat ramps are loaded it seems even through the week.

I've done pretty good in the Wolftever Creek area. They move daily though. You just have to get out and find them every trip. I'll catch them in one location one day, go back and not catch anything there. They have been shallow though from 3 to 12 feet. I troll with a hair jig under a float usually set from 3 to 5 feet deep.

I walked into Academy this morning about 15 minutes after they opened. As I wished the greeter a good morning my eyes rested on what appeared to be ammo....22 AMMO...!!! So, I did this :stunned: and they were still there. So I headed that way like a dog after a soup bone. There were 3 other guys headed that way and I :panic: and picked up my pace...the race was on!!! I managed 3rd place in the race and I saw 4 boxes of 525 round Remington and maybe 50 boxes of some other brand I'm not familiar with. But then I thought....what is the limit??? Well the lady told the first two guys who were together they could buy 1 of the bricks or 10 boxes of the other (It think that's what she said. I am pretty deaf). They began a long discussion about which was the better ammo and this went on for what seemed an eternity but was actually only a minute or so. I became very :bored: :waiting: with this and began to feel that :panic: feeling again so I asked one of the ladies if I could go ahead and purchase one of the bricks. Well the sales people were looking at them both like this :shake: and this :grouchy:. She was very glad to hand me a box and get the ball rolling. i paid and I was instantly feeling :biglol: :hyper:   , took my brick and headed to fishing dept and got some hair jigs. But I suppose the jigs can wait. It's off to the range with my buckmark, my walther P22, and my new CZ 452...!!!! Like the song goes...."Life is good today..." THE END.

I have owned blackhawks, super blackhawks, a couple of 357's and really liked them all. But I was young back then (35 years or so ago) and traveled construction and seemed to always have to sell one to get to the next job. I wasn't too good taking care of my money back in those days, but, they were like money in the bank if you got in a pinch. It's always nice to go to the LGS and find a jewel like you did. Being able to come to a deal is even sweeter.!!! Congrats!

Our Boxer was part of our family for almost 13 years. Had to let her go a year in June. I still miss her everytime I go outside. She was always there for us no matter what. There is no friendship like the friendship of a loyal dog.

I'm down to 3 bags. I gotta get busy and filler up with fillets soon! I do catch them pretty much year round though. Lots easier in the spring though. -
