  1. I'm in. Gonna get a large with everything!!
  2. No change here. Just a few around sundown on. Check your gutter for standing water. That's one place many people don't think of, yet can be the source of an infestation.
  3. We order from Papa Johns quite a bit. I like their pizzas better than the others and they are always hot. Of course I'm sure this chain has a different owner, but good pizza just the same. It was a noble thing the owner did for the victims family. I think you are doing a very good thing also.   I just read where it was the CEO of the Papa Johns chain that visited and paid off all the funeral bills. I thought it was the owner of that store. Papa Johns had been our favorite for a long time and will continue to be our favorite. Not many CEO's would have done this IMO.
  4. Awesome show. Now they have 3 ways to go on each episode if they wanted. Ricks group, the DC group and Carol because I don't think she's with Daryl.....I think you're right NextExit. Morgan will now be with Ricks group.
  5. Now THAT sounds like a plan that I could certainly live with right there!!!!
  6.   I'm in the same boat Dave. In today's idiot world, I'm sure somewhere down the line some idiot judge would force a rape victim to allow a rapist visitation to his child, thus forcing this woman to be attached to and forced to be in contact with the criminal for the rest of her life, giving the criminal an open door to enjoy tormenting her for his entertainment. Kind of like wife beaters get to do now.
  7.   Ya think? Ain't you the smart one.
  8. Depends on which neighbor it is. One of my neighbors are just great people and I'd probably be over there helping them....the ones on the other side? I'd call the law...LOL
  9.   I bought a Sony 55" HDTV about 4 months ago and it's just like you said. It's like sitting in the same room or right beside the actors. It really is spooky LOL. My best friend came over the day after we got it and we watched World War Z on it. Neither one of us could believe it. The van scene with Brad Pitt and his family had us shaking our heads!  It took some getting used to but we don't notice it so much now that we are used to it. Even shows like NCIS or Criminal Minds are that way. The street scenes were just crazy at first. Congrats on the new TV!!!
  10. I do love cold weather and always have. I worked a lot of my life on construction in the outdoors and always suffered more in summer than in winter. The coldest I've ever worked in was in Butte MT many years ago. I was on a crew that worked outside almost the entire winter. We did have the double insulated Carhartts though. I remember one day my foreman and I looked at a thermometer that was in the shade. It was 2pm and 14 below zero. It was 23 below zero walking in that morning.  We did have heated shacks however to go warm up in every hour or so. I wish I knew all those signs the old timers used to predict what the winter was gonna be like. Is sounds like you have a good handle on it Doug!! I'll also keep take your advice on the heat source for the house and for cooking.  Thanks!!
  11. You won't.....I'll be crappie and sauger fishing. LOL.
  12. Yer not help'n here Sir Gideon....LOL
  13. Here it is the last week of October and it's 78 FREAK'N degrees here in Chattanooga. :yuck: :yuck:
  14.   This is a look into the minds of these scum IMHO. They actually justify these types of killings by basing it on the race of the perp vs the victim. If it's black on white, then they celebrate. If it's white on black they flood the streets with violence and protests. If it's black on black they don't say a word.   Due to the coddling of these people by the authorities and society, the situation continues to deteriorate. All the talk about "white privilege" and America's history of slavery, which nobody alive today participated in, accelerates the division of America. The Progressives have identified the fact that you can't convert a society. You have to take a society apart to build a new one. This is the goal of the Progressive Left.
  15. A drunk, gun toting, hypocrite, Democrat Senator protesting violence. My my....what' IS the world coming to? :squint:
  16.   This gets my vote. I think this would be an excellent way for you to help and to ensure the things the church brings for the kids gets to the kids and your wife tactfully getting info on their needs that could be passed on to the church.
  17. I used to work a LOT of OT. Some years I would make 50% more than my salary on OT. I hated the hours away from family, but the money was great. It did get me out of the workforce a couple of years earlier by paying off almost all of my bills and built a bigger nestegg than if I had not worked it. I would do it again gladly.
  18. Sometimes doing things just because the law says you can, will backfire on you and send the wrong message to the wrong people.   http://www.burntorangereport.com/diary/15258/chipotle-bans-guns-after-dallas-open-carry-group-brings-assault-rifles-to-lunch

You were suppose to obtain new ID and register vehicles within 30 days of moving to Tennessee. Here's some info: http://www.dmv.org/tn-tennessee/new-to-tennessee.php
  20. I would lean far to the 9mm side, especially if my CW was a double stack 9mm of the Glock variety. The way many types of people are ganging up in herds to do their dirty work, multiple assailants would demand it. Trying to say out of a situation is best of course and always the first choice, but it seems that trouble is getting more mobile as time goes on and straying farther away from the old haunts, making it more unpredictable and harder to stay away from. Situational awareness is needed more now than it ever.
  21. I heard of a product called Eezox on the Seecamp forum after purchasing one of their pistols. It was highly regarded on that site. Someone posted the following link to a test of several products including Eezox. Here it is if anyone wants to check it out. Eezox obtained a pretty good win in the 42 hour salt water test.  I've been using it now for about 3 years on all my firearms and have had no issues with rust on any of them. I simply spray it on, let it sit about 15 minutes and wipe the firearm down with a soft cloth.   http://www.6mmbr.com/corrosiontest.html
  22.   This is true in the fact that when anyone dies they will turn. But being bitten must be different and is really bad and will cause you to turn without dying apparently. This is why Rick cut off Hershel's leg when he got bit in the prison. It'll be interesting to see what happens to the flesh eaters next.
  23. I haven't thought about him crying because he knew he was infected, but I thought the incubation time was like minutes not hours if you got scratched or bit. I may be wrong. That would serve the flesh eaters right though. Lots of unknowns right now, but I'm really liking this season so far. I'd much rather follow Daryl and Carol on their search for Beth than to just let them disappear again though. That would make a good addition to the story line IMO.
  24. I have a Glock 30 and a Ruger P90. both are excellent shooters
  25. I've got a Walther P22 DGFH model I'd part with.  It hits very hard at arms length and will knock an assailant out cold. Any farther than that you'd need to run like hell....
