  1. I haven't heard about it, but if it's true, I'll ride my motorcycle over and have me some lunch. Might just make it a weekly ride too, by crackies...!!! We need many more places like that.
  2. Does anyone have an idea what the value of these would be to a collector?  I've done some searching and haven't found much.
  3. Here's a good place to search by Tennessee cities:   https://gunshowtrader.com/gunshows/tennessee/   There are 2 in Chattanooga, one being this weekend at Alhambra off of East Brainerd Road and then the next weekend at Camp Jordan.
  4. Check up on the "Glock Smile".  There are lots of articles about this on the net and If I'm not mistaken, are not caliber related. It is a reloading issue.
  5. I've read some stories that he brought his story out in response to being denied proper VA healthcare and having some of his benefits reduced due to leaving the service 3 yeas early. I have no opinion on this really, don't know the details, just that this is being heavily reported.
  6.   I walked in and looked around several months ago while motorcycle riding up that way. I saw real fast why they are the best stocked store. Any person with just a little common sense will look at the prices and walk back out the door.
  7. I bought an O/U at Academy 2 days ago and it took less than 3 minutes.  Ya just never know I reckon.
  8. It's beginning to show up more and more as the weeks go by. The prices have always been normal at places like Walmart when it was available, but most was snatched up and resold at exhorbitant prices. Now when you see it at the local LGS, it's about triple + from what it was pre Sandy Hook. A brick of 550 federal bulk up to $49 from $12 back then. It will take a real flooded market with shelves running over for that to happen if it ever does.  JMO of course.    I just thought about something, I was with a friend a couple of weeks ago and we ran into a local walmart and they had boxes of 50 22LR for $2.50 a box but we could only buy 1 box each. They had about 50 boxes. Walmart can still get it cheap when they get it, but not the LGS...they pay premium prices.
  9. The problem is, what Americans are being dished out is not chicken nor steak. It's a $hit sandwich. The only thing different is one side dishes out more $hit than the other. That's what we are bitching about.
  10.   It's a conditioned response from years of voting and being let down. Very much like if you call a dog to you then run it off, call him to you and run him off, after a while he just sits and stares at you when you call him to you. Now do you get it?
  11. I'm hopeful, but the many Conservatives in office are still way left of where the should be which means we still have a lot of RINO'S to deal with.
  12. I LOVE that last pic......it's like "WHA..WHA...WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED????" LMAO
  13.   Yup....good time to stock up!  That goes for venison too! I'm crappie fishing every chance I get. My freezer is pretty light on them right now, but I'll get it filled back up.
  14. Don't have a pic, but I have a G30 and a "blind yer ass" bright led flashlight.
  15. Oh yeah.  19's are sweet. I've got a friend that's saving up for one right now. One good thing is 9mm ammo has returned and even at Academy the prices are good. I've seen some Monarch 50 round boxes for $12.99 and that's brass, not aluminum.
  16. Good job on the Glock..!!!!  I had 3 but I'm down to 2 Glocks now because I had 2 in 9mm. I will have a G27 as soon as I find the one I want. I have a 34 that's a dream to shoot and very accurate. I love 'em!!!
  17. To me a layaway is not a purchase until it's paid off, you get the receipt and the background check is complete. That is when you take possession, purchase has been made and you walk out the door with it.
  18.   Hey rugerla1, don't fret none. It woulda took me 10 months to work up the nerve to pull that boolit out too!!!  :hiding: :biglol:
  19.   I tried to talk him into leaving it with me in my garage because he lives on the second floor. I even offered to give a lock and chain and told him to chain it to his truck, but it would still be there unlocked when he's driving his truck. Oh well...I guess it's a lesson in life he'll remember, I hope so anyway. I wish he'd listened to me. I surely do hate a freak'n thief.
  20. 2 highly evolved (as far as zombie apocalyptic survivors go) of several years in all types of situations and threats, against a group that have hid in a hospital during all that time with most of the comforts of home?   I'll take the 2 highly evolved apocalyptic survivors for $1000 Bob. LOL
  21. I know I've seen several posts about spiders. Here is a chart to help us with these creatures:
  22.   Yes it seems that way. He's only lived there 2 months and between working at the National Guard, going to college and doing school work, he's not home much.
  23. My step son just turned 21 in July. He's already served 2 tours to the Middle East in the Army and was just promoted to Sergeant this Saturday (same day his bike was stolen). He's in the National Guard here in Chattanooga and is an outstanding soldier. He came home in June. He paid cash for a 2009 KLX 250S that is green about 1 month ago with his money saved while overseas defending our country. Some sorry assed PRICK stole it on 2 NOV from Evergreen apartments in Chattanooga in the Brainerd area AND THAT is what has me so PO'D!!! . He saw it was gone Saturday morning when he left to go to work at the Armory on Holzclaw. It's all stock, with the exception of lowering links that he and I put on it 2 weeks ago. PLEASE BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR HIS BIKE. Let me know if you see it.
  24. I usually use firefox, but it wouldn't do it, then I tried IE and it wouldn't do it, then downloaded Chrome and still no scrambled word box. I removed flash and reinstalled but still won't work. I think my wife has sabatoged my computer... :wall:
