This has an amazing point of view of what's happening to us today. http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2014/12/gangbangers_unbound.html With just a little imagination, you can almost sense this being done to Terrorists also.

2 NYPD officers shot, killed in ambush on cop car
Randall53 replied to RED333's topic in General Chat
Yes he is. Liberals are failures everywhere they rule. DEMOCRAT LEADERSHIP! What do the top ten cities with the highest poverty rate all have in common? Detroit, MI (1st on the poverty rate list) hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1961 Buffalo, NY (2nd) hasn’t elected one since 1954 Cincinnati, OH (3rd)… since 1984 Cleveland, OH (4th)… since 1989 Miami, FL (5th) has never had a Republican Mayor St. Louis, MO (6th)…. since 1949 El Paso, TX (7th) has never had a Republican Mayor Milwaukee, WI (8th)… since 1908 Philadelphia, PA (9th)… since 1952 Newark, NJ (10th)… since 1907 Einstein once said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and always expecting different results.†Liberals just don't get it. -
2 NYPD officers shot, killed in ambush on cop car

First, 4 LEO's were attacked and killed in Lakewood Washington, then 2 in Las Vegas, now 2 more in New York. There's way to much crap talk about police brutality, racism, and white privilege in the news and on TV by the likes of Sharpton and his kind stoking the fires in the minds of these killers. This is creating this scenario of hate crimes with police being shot dead, white's in St. Louis being beat to death with hammers and more violence in the streets of America than we can keep up with on the news. Then we always see the hands off by Sharpton and his cronies as they "denounce" the violence they knew their words would instill. After stirring the pot, in other words, he tries to wipe the spoon clean of prints. This happens every time. -
Thinking Santa may bring a pool table.........
Randall53 replied to gregintenn's topic in General Chat
LOL...it was the same at my house at first. Then, after a few months we used the pool table as punishment....you know. The kids would do something wrong and we'd make them play pool every evening after school for an hour or two..... Just kidding of course. They are a lot of fun and great for practice if you really love the game. Congrats!!! -
Thanks for all the imput!! I'm selling my ST1300 because of shoulder problems. The vibrations and bumps of the road in the handlebars is causing problems. I've decided I'd be in the same boat with a 4 wheeler. Side by sides have steering wheels so that's where I'm going. I'm looking at the Polaris 4x4 500 if I can find a good used one. I used to use one a lot when I worked, but have not had one in the woods before. A friend of mine has one and uses it a lot for woods riding and loves it. So...thanks again for all the input!!!

If anyone doubted the fact that ISIS is over here running our streets, this should open their eyes. The truck probably left the country through the open southern border. The same one the buyers entered this country through.

I'm thinking seriously about a side by side. I'll look at the Polaris. Thanks.

thanks for the info and suggestions. It seems like Honda and Polaris are the most popular.

I know many of you have 4 wheelers and I'd appreciate any input ya'll may have on them. I've been looking a bit, but get tired of the sales pitches and pressure to buy. They all say theirs is the best and so on, but I'm going to buy used anyway, so I thought coming here and getting the real scoop is the best way to go. I've always been a motorcycle person but I'm getting out of it and have a pretty solid sale for my ST1300. What I'm wanting to do is get a REALLY dependable, Utility/hunting go anywhere type machine that will ride 2 people. I'm pretty much sold on a 4x4 with low range though. After looking at a few I can see there are a lot of options. What input do ya'll have as to these machines? Do you like the auto or manual shift? What's out there besides the belt driven like the Arctic Cats and Polaris or are they all belt driven? Is belt driven the best and can you change a worn one out yourself? Anyway, those are some questions I have, but I really don't know enough about them to ask much more. Please feel free to fill me in on what you think is best and why. PS....My price range will be $4k to $6k. If anyone knows where one is for sale, I'd like to check it out. My motorcycle is not sold yet and could fall through, but it seems like a pretty solid deal, pending a meet and greet sometime this week. You're help will be greatly appreciated!!!

No....it was a dead childs body.....but now the perfect excuse has been found. I can't imagine anyone getting away with this: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/dec/11/tenneessee-cop-lets-muslim-drive-dead-child-trunk/ Now they have the perfect means of moving through the country with a dirty bomb in the trunk. Just say it's a dead body and against their religion to show it to anyone.

When You Think About It, This is the Most Likely Scenario
Randall53 replied to Moped's topic in Survival and Preparedness
I've worked many years in the power industry. Transformers are by far the largest expense in the grid. That and power station generators. Everything in a switchyard is there to protect those two items. Transformers and the Generators. Transformers are super expensive, especially the really larger ones in the 161KV, 500KV and larger for the main transmission lines. My experience has shown these are not per-manufactured sitting in a warehouse somewhere, but are custom built to order with an 18 month to 2 year lead time. The plant I worked at replaced 3 of these types of transformers and each one was a 2 to 3 year project and the cost was in the tens of millions of dollars with each transformer alone costing over $5 million. The fact is, with a collapse of the grid, Millions would die. Take a look around in your homes, neighborhoods and cities. Everything you touch and everything you see is dependent on electricity and would be useless, or used up in days. What then? Sobering thought huh? It's too bad our leaders can't see this. -
That's very close to the one I bought from the Tractor Supply. Cannon shipped it to my house and the freight company was good enough to roll it into my garage though it said curb drop off. I then hired 2 Men and a Truck to unbox it, remove it from the pallet and put into a back bedroom of my home. It took 3 guys to do it but they did a great job. The price was $125 and it took them a little over an hour. It was worth every penny to me. I knew I couldn't move it and didn't want any friends to get hurt either. When I called them, they said they usually do a couple of them a week, so they know what their doing and are geared for it. Oh yeah...they will even pick one up for you where ever you buy it and do the same thing. It does cost more though.

Those are some wonderful heartfelt words, and very much applicable. This is a unique place unlike most other boards I've seen.

I am truly sorry for the loss of your mom. I know that pain well. Find peace in the knowledge that she is now in the comfort of her heavenly home in the presence of our Lord.

The CIA had an opening for an assassin. After all the background checks, interviews and testing were done, there were three finalists: two men and a woman. For the final test, the CIA agents took one of the men to a large metal door and handed him a gun. "We must know that you will follow your instructions no matter what the circumstances. Inside the room you will find your wife sitting in a chair. Kill her." The man said, "You can't be serious. I could never shoot my wife". The agent said, "Then you are not the right man for this job. Take your wife and go home". The second man was given the same instructions. He took the gun and went into the room. All was quiet for about five minutes. The man came out with tears in his eyes, "I tried, but I can't kill my wifeâ€. The agent said, "You don't have what it takes, so take your wife and go home." Finally, it was the woman's turn. She was given the same instructions to kill her husband. She took the gun and went into the room. Shots were heard one after another. They heard screaming, crashing, and banging on the walls. After a few minutes, all was quiet. The door opened slowly and there stood the woman, wiping sweat from her brow as she leaned back against the wall. "The gun was loaded with blanks," she said between breaths. "I had to kill him with the chair!!!"

Now Obama is going to let you pay for Body Cams for Cops
Randall53 replied to DaveTN's topic in General Chat
I'm not an LEO, but I'm in favor of the cams no matter who buys them. If I was an LEO, I'd definitely want one on me. I think it'll save a huge pile of money by eliminating law suits and stop the kind of crap that's been going on all over the country in recent months. That's MHO. Edited after reading Vontars post: I'd love to see body cams with audio and video on every member of the congress and senate during their waking hours. I bet that'd be real hoot.
