Nice looking belt. I was thinking about one of those heavy reinforced belts for belt carry, but after actually seeing one at a gun show a few months ago that was to strip $60 out of my billfold, I decided to check around some more. I had an acquaintance that had bought one and said they were too stiff and were bad to pinch while sitting sometimes like in a car. I usually carry with a paddle holster anyway. I eventually bought a thick nice leather belt at Academy that was $20. It's worked out well so far. I figured if I could buy 3 of these for one of those over 6 years or so, I'll be content.

I went in the Walmart on Hwy 153 a few days ago and saw they had aguila 22LR 50 round boxes. I'd say they had at lease 30 boxes or so. Nobody was there at all. I also saw they still had a sign up that said 1 box per customer. I didn't get any and didn't even try to find out a price. If I buy 22 I usually only buy the 350, 500 or 550 round bricks.

That's awesome. I wish I hadn't had my head up my arse 40 years ago when there was land aplenty for $200 - $300 per acre. I had a good job too and could now be sitting on many acres with a huge barn and house paid for.........(dammit-all)

I'm sure there are many reasons for way the following report is so unbalanced. I have my own ideas and I'm sure everyone else has theirs. http://www.ojjdp.gov/ojstatbb/crime/JAR_Display.asp?ID=qa05261 -
I still have the original card I got when I turned 16 (1969) and it states "For SS only and not to be used for ID purposes" or something to that effect. The law changed at some point and that statement disappeared. It's not on SS cards anymore and it seems now that everyone wants it for everything, even though we're warned the dangers of it being stolen and how important it is to protect it at the same time. It's ridiculous is what it is.

It won't happen, but if people would simply stop buying it for a month from anyone, the price would drop like a lead ball. Like I said though, it'll never happen. I haven't bought any in several months and won't buy it at current prices.

First, welcome to TGO Thomas..... And then, I often think the same thing. We are much better off than others and I'm thankful. But I still feel that some people are jerking our chains sometimes.

I hope their prices are better than Gander Mtn on 153. I know why they call it Gander Mtn.....because all you can do is "gander" at the goods their prices are so high. -
Despite new law, guns still banned at Memphis in May

The faith these people seem to have that criminals and gang-bangers obey these rules and/or laws is astounding. -
Welcome neighbor.

"level the playing field" This is one of Obama's favorite things to say. Life does not happen on a "level playing field" -

The thing that troubles me in this is the fact that the world is getting scared to make fun of one particular religion when in the past all of the other religions have been fair game. The reason for this fear, is due to the extremely violent beliefs and actions of Islam. One can say that the violence is due to fringe members and this may be true, but then why the silence from the huge number of mainstream members? Personally, I'm not so sure. Being a country boy, I didn't even know what Islam was 30 years ago. Now it's in the news daily and usually the news is bad news. I see some here that are saying these types of events are poking a sleeping bear and I can understand this, but this bear that the world is growing to fear so much is growing exponentially and getting very powerful. Eventually, the bear is gonna wake up anyway and he's going to be very hungry. What then? What's the world going to do when the serious worldwide uprising starts? It's coming sooner or later. -
Yep. I agree. hundreds of thousands if not several million people would die in a matter of hours and more in just a few days due to loss of medical care and equipment that requires electricity. The supply chain of everything we need to live would be broken and chaos would break out everywhere. This would overload everything and I seriouslly doubt even martial law would have any affect. This could be started in a heartbeat from an attack from an ISIS cell hidden here for that very mission. Imagine what would happen when ALL the underground ISIS cells that are here started attacking all over the USA? With our Southern boarder open like it is, anyone who doesn't believe that ISIS has made there way here I think is living in a dream world.

"It's (ie...the grid) not adequately protected from cyber or physical sabotage," Pry said in an interview with Fox News. This is the more realistic threat and is just as real. I've said it before on another thread here on this subject. Power transformers (161KV 500kv and up) are made to order due to cost to manufacture with a 2 year turnaround. EVERYTHING else on the grid is there to protect these transformers. A syncronized attack could put the grid in the dirt in a heartbeat. Utter disaster wouldl follow in days.

Honestly honest hog gun opinions....

I've never hunted hogs, but If I ever did, I'd use my Marlin 44 magnum Lever. -
All joking aside, the fishing pressure has gone through the roof since the state record was caught on the Chick. I used to put in regularly at Soddy Creek but if your not there a half hour before daylight you can forget it on the weekends and the weekdays are not much better. There are NO light days on the Chic anymore and all the ramps are heavily used every day. As is true anywhere, if you don't know what to use (seasonally speaking) or where to go it's going to be a hard day on the water. There's a LOT of unproductive water out there with thousands of points, thousands of flats and thousands of stumps and wood cover on the banks. I remember back years ago when everyone wanted to fish Guntersville. I tried it a few times. I'd ask people that fish there and they'd say "fish the grass"....I'd lauch the boat and dang...there was MILES of grass!!!! LOL. I blanked there more days than I caught fish. Just say'n.....

I'm a big time crappie fisherman my self. Best eat'n fish in the lake. I try to keep my freezer full, but it's getting hard to do lately. I live about 10 minutes from Lake Chickamauga and fish there several times a week. There's so many of the danged green trashy things ya'll call bass in the lake you can't keep them off the danged hook. It's got so bad that we have to take somebody with us as a decoy to draw them away from our crappie jig so we can catch a good mess of crappie. I used to eat bass, but I don't like them after they get over a couple of pounds since they taste to strong. It's hard to catch one under 5 lbs anymore. Them big 'ol bass has about ruined the crappie fish'n on the Chic. The guys that fish for bass here all the time usually have 10 rods and reels on the deck while bass fishing. I reckon the reels just won't hold up under the strain of catch'n 7 or 8 of them 10lb'ers every trip. Yep..the bass fish'n is ruin'n our lake here in Lake Chickamauga and it's a danged shame too!!!

Whoa.....Now I like that! Much nicer than the EZ-OUT I'm carrying now. Thanks mikegideon, I think I'll order one of those tomorrow. The tip of my Gerber looks like a fine flatblade screwdriver from a recent drop on the patio. LOL
