I"e had no problem finding primers in brick and mortar stores. Academy had an end shelf full yesterday when I was there. They also had 9mm and 45 boolits. Sportsmans had no shortage either a couple of weeks ago when I walked through the reloading dept. I wasn't buyng since I don't need anything and was enjoying the view. LOL! Are online prices really saving you that much money? Maybe I need to go online.

How did you get him to lay on his back for the pic? LOL

I know right? LOL

Yeah, I see your point OS. I think things have got to change. After the massive herd of this season, I think they've done about everything they can zombie wise. Unless they move to a animal zombies appearing like a wolf for instance that can run 20 MPH...LOL. I'm not sure which seasons had the most danger from renegades rather than the zombies. It might have been season 3 and 4, but to move forward, soon, the zombies are going to have to take a backseat to more of the dangerous gang-like elements like we had at Woodbury and Terminus.

Most people don't want to know things about TWD ahead of time. But, if you are not one of those, The comics are available for free online and the show is pretty close. I'm sure ya'll know you can also search about anything pertaining to TWD online and pretty much find out anything. It's VERY popular online. It does take all the fun out of watching though.

Woe be unto you if you give Frontier Firearms negative feedback
Randall53 replied to East_TN_Patriot's topic in General Chat
There are a lot of people working in gun stores and pawn shops too that have attitudes. At the first sign of disrespectful or questionable attitude I'm out the door. Oh...and with my money still in my pocket!! -
LOL.....I don't see how some of ya'll watch TV or movies at all by some of your comments. I mean most all shows are far from being realistic and that includes serious ones. Firearms have NO recoil when shot, leading actors are constantly escaping from deadly situations just in the nick of time, If one of the stars actually does die, it's all a dream, the bomb is ALWAYS defused with less than 5 seconds left on the timer. etc....etc....LOL!! C'mon......it's entertainment, not documentaries.

I want to thank all of you for the replies. I'm sorting things in my mind. I'm really worried about some things. Thanks again.

22LR ammo....now if the price will just drop!!!
Randall53 replied to Randall53's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
that's very true. I'm hoping that there's enough people that have horded so much of it that it begins to sit on the shelf. Prices on centerfire has dropped back to near normal prices and the shelves are full. Maybe 22 is not far behind. We'll see. -

You are correct sir, about the GB and GOA sites. they pretty much gouge on everything, guns included IMHO. But actually, my point was that this site used to say "sold out" practically from top to bottom of that list. Now they all say "In Stock", or did when I posted, and I haven't seen that in a couple of years. The prices are less than they were 18 months ago, but now with availability being what it is, I'm hoping the prices will fall like a rock. -

Retirement One day a man decided to retire. He booked himself on a Caribbean cruise and proceeded to have the time of his life, . . . that is, . . . until the ship sank. He soon found himself on an island with no other people, no supplies, nothing, only bananas and coconuts. After about four months, he is lying on the beach one day when the most gorgeous woman he has ever seen rows up to the shore. In disbelief, he asks, “Where did you come from? How did you get here?” She replies, “I rowed over from the other side of the island where I landed when my cruise ship sank.” “Amazing,” he notes. “You were really lucky to have a row boat wash up with you.” “Oh, this thing?” explains the woman. “I made the boat out of some raw materialI found on the island. The oars were whittled from gum tree branches. I wove the bottom from palm tree branches, and the sides and stern came from a Eucalyptus tree.” “But, where did you get the tools?” “Oh, that was no problem,” replied the woman. “On the south side of the island, a very unusual stratum of alluvial rock is exposed. I found that if I fired it to a certain temperature in my kiln, it melted into ductile iron and I used that to make toolsand used the tools to make the hardware.” The guy is stunned. “Let’s row over to my place,” she says “and I'll give you a tour.” So, after a short time of rowing, she soon docks the boat at a small wharf. As the man looks to shore, he nearly falls off the boat. Before him is a long stone walk leading to a cabin and tree house. While the woman ties up the row boat with an expertly woven hemp rope, the man can only stare ahead, dumb struck. As they walk into the house, she says casually, “It’s not much, but I call it home. Please sit down.” “Would you like a drink?” “No! No thank you,” the man blurts out, still dazed. “I can’t take another drop of coconut juice.” “Oh it’s not coconut juice,” winks the woman. “I have a still. How would you like a Tropical Spritz?” Trying to hide his continued amazement, the man accepts, and they sit down on her couch to talk. After they exchange their individual survival stories, the woman announces, “I’m going to slip into something more comfortable. Would you like to take a shower and shave? There’s a razor in the bathroom cabinet upstairs.” No longer questioning anything, the man goes upstairs into the bathroom. There, in the cabinet is a razor made from a piece of tortoise bone. Two shells honed to a hollow ground edge are fastened on to its end inside a swivel mechanism. “This woman is amazing,” he muses. “What's next?” When he returns, she greets him wearing nothing but some small flowers on tiny vines, each strategically positioned, she smelled faintly of gardenias. She then beckons for him to sit down next to her. “Tell me,” she begins suggestively, slithering closer to him, “We’ve both been out here for many months. You must have been lonely. When was the last time you played around? She stares into his eyes.” He can’t believe what he's hearing. “You mean, . . .” he swallows excitedly as tears start to form in his eyes, . . . . . . “You’ve built a Golf Course too???”

I think it's scientific studies are dangerous to the truth, but that's just me I reckon. My grandparents and great grandparents on both side of my family all lived into their late 80's and 90's. They cooked with lard, ate meat every meal, ate eggs, bacon, sausage, fatback, in essence everything they now say is dangerous. I don't think its the food. It's the couch, TV and just sitting on your ass in general that's so dangerous. I mean crap. People will kill you over a parking space closer to the door at the mall to keep from walking. Here's why I think this: My doctor has a sign in his office that reads: "ASK YOUR DOCTOR IF GETTING OFF YOUR ASS AND EXERCISING IS RIGHT FOR YOU!!".....Yes he really does. I took him at his word. I've lost almost 50 lbs since last February, down from 298, by working out at at Planet Fitness ($20 a month) and splitting every meal with my wife if we go out and just cutting my portions in half at home. I eat whatever I want, just not near as much. I just had my bloodwork done and my A1C dropped from 6.9 to 5.2. My cholesterol dropped from 225 to 147. Everything else is right in the middle where it's supposed to be. So, my doctors sign was obviously the right thing for me. I have a goal to drop 45 more pounds by the beginning of next summer. I have no problem maintaining my weight now, so I've promised myself "NEVER AGAIN" will I get into such dangerous pitiful shape again for the rest of my life.

I'm very troubled by the number of suicides by our vets that are returning home from the Middle East. My son has spent 2 tours over there in the Army. He's only 22. He joined the NG at 17. He's now a Sargent and is planning a military career. His mom and I worry about this problem. I know there are many on here who have served over there. What is it causing this? can anyone shed some light? I read yesterday where 4 NG members from the same Indiana unit have committed suicide: http://http://www.military.com/daily-news/2015/10/26/4-veterans-from-one-Indiana-guard-unit-have-committed-suicide.html He never talks about his experiences over there. He had to pass and obtained a secret clearance status for the last trip to Afghanistan and said he can't say anything about it, even where he went in the country. We worry a lot because no one seems to know what is happening to these vets. I can't help but wonder what the hell is going on over there that is happening at such a frightening rate.

Had something weird happen last night in Franklin
Randall53 replied to tennesseetiger's topic in General Chat
I'm always aware of my surroundings. I've been that way since my early years in the Martial Arts. That was a long time ago, but I developed the habit and it has stayed with me all this time. My wife tells our friends I've got eyes in the back of my head because of things I see sometimes. LOL. I've drilled it into her too and she does a pretty good job now. I still prod her sometimes though to get better. Congrats on being alert!! You can't defend against something you miss seeing. -
I went back and looked. Actually that dumpster is unusually tall underneath. Couple that with the door that's right beside the dumpster that Glen tried to open just before they climbed up onto the dumpster being a possible source of help/escape, and the flare gun.....we will see Glenn again alive and kicking.

I've made them the same way but I sometimes add just a bit, to taste actually, of Tony Chachere's Cajan Spice to the mix. It's great for football games.

If Glenn's dead, then why wasn't he listed in the Memoriam of the Talking Dead when they had everyone else but him?. They have never left anyone that died off of that and how would they do it now if he did die? Say they made a mistake and put it in next weeks show? Don't say flashbacks, because Lizzie, Mika, the Governor and others were in Tyreeses flashbacks, yet was named in the Memoriam of the Talking Dead when they died. LOL....No, he ain't dead. In another note, did anyone notice the Daryl look alike walker in the pet shop scene? It was the screen shot out of the window when the walkers first turned towards the door. My wife ran the recorder back and stopped it. It had his hairdo down to a tee. We thought it was him for a minute, but then they moved to him riding back to meet Abraham and Sasha.

Glenn ain't dead........yet.

welcome aboard Dave. The only requirement I know about relating to the trade and sell boards is to be a benefactor. You can take care of that by going to the "TGO STORE" tab towards the top of the page.

So. I wonder how many sick minds will go "click" on this in the near future as a means to commit a mass killing to gain fame? http://www.cnn.com/2015/10/24/us/oklahoma-car-into-crowd/index.html UPDATE: This is a terrible tragedy. Now it's been confirmed that 4 have died and 44 people injured.

Personally, that statement by Tony Guglielmo should ring a bell with these people that think they can just pass a law and everyone will bow down. This is the statement that I read that really nailed my thoughts: Millions of people in this country have always considered that (the Constitution) something worthy to fight for by any means and to die for in foreign countries. How much more is this true to fight for on their own soil?
