  1. Dang!!! How did I miss this? What a great opportunity.  I would have been first on the list. No way I can make it now. If you ever do this again I'll be there. You and your father are amazing for doing this. I sure hope you can do it again sometime.
  2. Most all "Reality TV" is fake.
  3. It seemed pretty obvious that they thought that was all of them from the question asked by someone before the voice on the loudspeaker and the alarm going off about  wondering which one was Negan. They had killed all of the ones inside the building except motorcycle guy.
  4. Maybe so. I'd hate to loose Daryl on WD  yet it's the WD that has made Norman Reedus so popular as an actor and a person. The article said that Reedus has been into motorcycles for years and has plenty of time to film both shows. I'm gonna watch it. It looks like it may be a good one. As far as WD is concerned, I would rather lose Glenn if I had to choose. It could be someone we don't suspect though. Like Carol maybe.
  5. I sure hope this thing works. There are a gazillion things that have to happen perfectly any one of which will turn it into space junk. I also hope I live to see the pictures it takes.   http://www.universetoday.com/127121/all-primary-mirrors-fully-installed-on-nasas-james-webb-space-telescope/

  6. Nancy Reagan is so much the opposite of what we have now for a First Lady.
  7.   I just read this on a website about Norman Reedus:   "It has been confirmed Norman will be starring in a new series, ‘Ride With Norman Reedus.’ The AMC show will begin with 6 episodes, each 1-hour long."   That sounds great for Norman, not so great for Daryl. Then again, it might not mean anything....It looks like a great show coming out though, especially since I've ridden motorcycles for many years of my life:   http://www.ew.com/article/2015/10/29/norman-reedus-walking-dead-ride-with-motorcycle-amc
  8. I think it's gonna be Daryl.
  9. Ok...I have no favorites here. I'll take any of 'um!!  How much is a raffle ticket? LOL
  10. Gas is on the rise again. Regular has gone up about 12 to 15 cents in my area in the past 7-10 days or so. It's kinda strange, but diesel has not. I saw a station last night where the regular gas and the diesel were both $1.49.
  11. I always have mine on along with 3 extended mags whether just 4-wheeling or hunting.
  12. I've had to file a couple of claims through the years with ebay. They will contact him and set a fire under his ass. If he wasn't ready to sell  and ship, he shouldn't have listed it IMO.
  13. I've seen it before but it was a while back. Like maybe a year ago.
  14. I'm not much of an authority on this, but I have a friend that is, well he says so anyway. He always said the best thing is to do a control burn of your yard to get rid of everything, then to have the ph checked and corrected if necessary, then to reseed. He lost my interest at the "do a control burn" part. I just over seeded heavily and now have a heinz 57 yard. It is green however and I have to mow every 4 days. Unless I want to PO the neighbors. Then I let it go 10 days. LOL. You'd have to understand my neighbors to understand the 10 days.  :biglol:
  15. I plink with my 9mm when I want more than a .22. I carry my .40S&W.
  16. "I've got one of their 20 gal compressors.  It's ok.  It's fine for airing up tires and such, but even though it's a 20 gal tank, the tube exiting the tank into the regulator is only 1/4" so it doesn't supply enough air to run my air impact.  It runs my air ratchet fine, runs the die grinder intermittently.  The low pressure switch is set much too low, at about 60 psi, so it runs way down before it kicks on to fill back up.  It leaks oil (not oil-less motor).  It blew the head gasket after a few years, but that was fairly easily fixed.  If used a lot in the summer, it'll over-heat.  I wouldn't buy another one.     That said, I'm in the market for an electric impact wrench.  Anyone care to recommend one?"     I have a Campbell Hausfeld set I bought on craigslist a couple of years ago. It's a well used set but was very cheap. It looks like crap but works like a champ.
  17. I wait for the super sales and stock up on consumables like tie-wraps, leather gloves, latex gloves, tape, carter pins, dust masks etc....AND tools also. For occasional home use they seem to be good enough for me. I've got a quick lift rolling jack I've had for 10 years and it still works fine. I bought one of their finish nail guns on super saver sale and have used the crap out of it doing wood working projects and I always buy their nails for the gun and it's still going strong. I have a small side grinder I've used a lot and it's still going like a new one and I always get the discs when they go on sale. I have a heat gun I've used a lot and it's still going strong. I've got a jointed multi-position 3/8 ratchet that has worked really well and has come in very handy may times. I have their wrenches, metric and standard, and have never broke one, but then all I work on is motorcycles and my lawnmowers usually.  I did buy an air powered grease gun that was junk which they took back and they refunded my money with no problem. (I bought another one at O'Reillys and its worked great for about the same price.) I've bought their batteries, AA and AAA mostly, for use in my coyote call and night fishing headlamps and have no complaints on them either especially at 4.99 for a box of 20 on Super Saver sales. They seem to last as long as most name brands. I'd say for consumables, go for it. Tools and other items? I've had good luck (except the air grease gun) but then I'm only an occasional user and if something breaks, I've never had a problem returning the item.
  18. I carry my SW 642 about 15% of the time.
  19. I have a couple of lifestraws in my safe I bought a couple of years ago or so. I have a sawyer that I carry in my oudoors bag for fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling ect.  It's the same price but seems a bit more sturdy to me and more compact that the lifestraw.   http://www.amazon.com/Sawyer-Products-SP103-Filtration-System/dp/B00MPH1LEU/ref=sr_1_1?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1456787524&sr=1-1&keywords=sawyer+water+filter
  20. I wish he had asked "Could these people not use a hammer, knife or ball bat and murder someone? Are these methods of murder less or more violent than a firearm?"
  21. I bought a Remington 783 in 30-06. It's a good rifle for the money. I bought the 30-06 due to ammo availability. You can buy it anywhere and is almost always on the shelf. It's more accurate than I am and shoots great.
  22. You are right about some R's, especially in the Northeast. The Dems are the loudest squeaky wheel by by many decibels though and are leading the fight by a mile.  BUT he did remove all references to the drug issue in the post.
  23. I agree. Using a lockbox without common sense is useless.
  24. It didn't need fix'n.  You don't think there's a sever drug problem in the USA?  It's as much of a poison as the drano. look at the link. close to 30,000 deaths by OD.
  25. This country made it 240 years without having to answer that kind of question from Doctors and gun ownership has nothing to do with the mess we're in now as a country. I feel it's none of their damn business for the next 240 years just like it's been for the past 240 years. Like post #3 by 101 shows more deaths by poison than firearms, yet there's never any talk about locking up your drano stash, registering it, or passing bills that make you accountable for poor storage of poisons in your home if a child or someone drinks it and dies.  It's all about firearms and the desire of the Dems to take 'em up.   They need to spend this time and money on the pandemic drug problem in this country that's killing our young people by overdose and getting the drug dealers in prison.   https://www.drugabuse.gov/related-topics/trends-statistics/overdose-death-rates
