That’s about all I use unless I tie a fly on behind a small clear float. Like right now the Caddis hatch is on and a Caddis fly is doing good. The float lets me use my ultralight open face and still float a fly down the river. But, most Caddis flies are black and an a black Rooster Tail seems to work good too, just not today! LOL!

My fishing buddy and I had a great day today. Great conversation and great company. The peanut butter N crackers washed down with ice cold Coke was delicious. The weather was perfect. The Hiwassee River was clear and cold. The crowd did not show up and I only saw 6 folks out fishing. A light breeze kept us cool when the sun got high. I did not loose one Rooster Tail all day. My waders didn’t leak and I didn’t fall in . We got a late start and didn’t get on the river until 9:30. The fish quit biting at 9 so we didn’t catch a thing......BUT......My fishing buddy and I had a great day today. Lesson learned: It ain’t always about the fish!!

It was a perfect day. The Hiwassee is running really sweet right now too below the bridge at Reliance.

Dang pipeline killed my trout fishing plan for today. It was a perfect day too. I guess next week will be good.

I have reached Old Fart status for sure. I bought me a Red Ryder Adult version bb bun. 250 FPS low velocity is what I wanted to keep the squirrels off of the bird feeders without killing them. Body shots only you see. The birds love me though!! As soon as I clear out the squirrels, they come right back and start eating. Squirrels on the ground are ok, but when they run the birds off and gorge on the feeders they get busted in the butt!

That is one scary picture right there. Where do these people come from? Even if they survive the ride home, how the heck are they going to get it into the vehicles tank?

I tried square space but all I could find to get started with was templates that I had to choose from and that all already had pictures and lots of other stuff that I could not figure out how to delete. It seems they are all that way. You have to learn how to delete and alter a template to even get started. Very aggravating.

I bet it will be like some of those cars I like to watch them restore on TV. It don’t look too bad, but then they start taking it apart and find it’s a nightmare.

I wonder if they payed the ransom. I bet it was an enormous amount. Another hacker group is wanting $4 million for personal records of 20 officers on the force of the DC police dept. I can’t imagine what Colonial was being ransomed for.

that’s good, but If the grid goes....everything goes. Even if the gas stations have their tanks full, without power no gas, no water, no cooling, no cold beer.....can’t pay for anything......a real life walking dead with no zombies. And above all, a MAD MAD WIFE!!! LOL

I’m for it. this happened to me a few months back. I posted a wanted add in the gun sale forum and got 2 PM’s from brand new members telling me “such and such guy can get this for you from New York City....etc....” I deleted and didn’t even reply.

The one I tried was they host for you. I’ll try square space. That sounds like what I need. Thank you Mac!

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I guess I’m really computer illiterate because I tried both Wordpress and Wix and and it was just over my head. I haven’t tried square space so I’ll see how that works

I’m wanting to do a blog type website. I’ve tried just about every free or low cost hosting place on the web I think, but they are so complicated for my 68 YO brain. They all are geared for something fancy, or somebody trying to sell something. I’m just looking for a place to upload some documents on a irregular basis. No pictures, no fancy anything and most of all E A S Y to do. I know we have some ‘putter Xperts in the family, so does anyone know of a place I might could try? E A S Y is the main objective Thanks for any input!

Oh well....we’ll all be driving electric everything in a couple of years with no oil changes needed. Of course we’ll still need gas for the truck and generator that will rescue the electric vehicle that forgets to charge it up the night before...
