  1. Since "SELLER" is not explained....could the FFL holder be considered the seller and not the manufacturer?  Or, maybe even both?
  2. I wonder if he was spin dancing while the rapper "rapped"....LOL...
  3. 45 years ago quail were plentiful. I hunted them with my dad for several years. I remember beginning to see coyotes in the early 80s. Before long they were everywhere and quail became harder to find. Then the housing developments began buying up every piece of land they could. Now, every field and old home place my dad and I hunted are now subdivisions. I haven't seen or heard a quail in years now. I'm sure their is still some hunting, but nothing to what it was. Kinda like the John Prine song Paradise.....ya know?
  4. I've been in that place twice.  When I lived in Georgia. I never bought anything though. I don't remember why, but maybe it was price.
  5.   LOL....you do have strong argument there OS.

    Opinions please!

I'd really like to shoot one of the new Ruger 1911's.  I've got a P90 that's a great shooter.  Ruger and Glock are about all I own though.
  7.     I agree, but actually, you're describing several denominations during that time frame.  Church of God, Church of Christ, Independent Baptist, Fundamental Baptist, as you said and other just small unaffiliated country churches.  Those traits were a lot more prevalent years ago.
  8. The problem I have with Political Correctness is it's ONE FREAK'N WAY.....!!!!  It's a requirement placed upon White America due to the sins of many years ago, of which I had nothing to do with.  Bigot?  I don't think so.  Just an observation IMHO.
  9. Well crap....I'm gonna quit coming here....every time I think I'm getting somewhere in prepping, I come here and find something else.  Last time it was prescriptions...LOL   I guess I'll just buy me a cheap ice skate on ebay and a nice smooth rock in the back yard and put them in my emergency pack....
  10.   I don't think so TNFlyer.  The Daily KOS is a highly progressive political blog. The guy parrots a lot of what he gleans off of other websites and thus is kind of a barometer of what the left is talking about all over the web.  He even supplies links to other progressive and Liberal site.  Anyway, that's my take of the Daily KOS.
  11. That picture does not prove a thing. We all know there are $50 computer programs that could have created that photograph.  Obama could have shot a gun in the basement of the WH and a 12 year old computer whiz could have put him in the middle of Disneyland shooting it. That was the point to an email I got that had 12 different pictures of Obama shooting that shotgun. Heck, in one, he was holding it backwards!!!!  I LMAO at that one.  It looked just as real as the original.   Edited to say that the WSJ has had some very good articles.  They are getting closer to being impartial that most other MSM.
  12.     I completely agree. They are getting bolder as the days go on.  The only thing that could hold them back a bit would be the the fear of losing seats in the mid term elections.  With the strong push for gun control, that doesn't seem to bother them anymore. They think they can win anyway.  If they're right, the USA has some very dark years ahead.
  13.     I agree "Sporks" is not a very flattering name, but there are many progressive (that word should be familiar to us all) and left websites that promote the same thing.  That's what I mean by spying.  If anyone really wants to know the mood and intent of the left wing establishment spend a few minutes a week searching the web.  It's a real eye opener. I've recently set email alerts from some of these sites to keep up with what their saying. To win a battle, you have to stay ahead of the enemy.  That's all I'm saying here.  The quicker we know something, the quicker we can fire off emails to our leaders to contest them.   You know folks, it's easy to say this can't happen, because we have the Constitution, but we need to just stop and think where we would be if the Supreme Court had just one more liberal member during Heller VS DC. If that were true, the McDonald VS Chicago decision would not even exist.    Oh...I recently learned that the Supreme Court can always revisit past decisions and reverse them, which could happen if the majority swing happens. The gun grabbing left has proven that they are never going to give up.  They are patient and want this country to be a mirror of the UK, it seems to me, and they are supportive of UN control.
  14. He's simply using the "STOP ME IF YOU CAN" technique. He has the full support of his most powerful disciples, Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstin, the Clintons, Sharpton, Rove, the list is very long, to accomplish the push to a so called "progressive" America.  From what I've read, Socialism and Progressivism both seek the economic and political equality of all members of society and the Socialist slogan "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" apply.
  15. There's lots of talk (aka "malarkey") being shoveled our way from the President and his chief "malarkey" spreader and talking head Joe Biden.  However, just as intelligence about an enemy can help win a war, I think it applies just as strong in the RTBA agenda. We all probably know this, but it's a fact that we can all be spies, in a sense, because said Intelligence can easily be had today by keeping up with left slanted and extreme left websites. That being said, don't think for a minute they ain't spying on us..!!!   Check this article out for instance:  (I hope this link works!!)   Here's the REAL plan of the enemy.     One thing for sure. The leadership of the Left are LIARS......If any of you are Democrat, don't expect an apology from me, just take a look around you and what you're doing to the country your kids will live in. The destruction goes way beyond the 2nd Amendment. That's just the first front of attack.
  16. I don't want anyone I don't know within an arms length.  If they do I'll tell them step back.  They can like it or walk away.
  17. :stunned: :stunned: I hope your floor is either concrete or well supported!  Braggert....LOL
  18. Ain't that the freak'n truth!!...LOL. I seem to remember Obama used "I" about 32 times during the announcement of the raid. :snore:
  19. Whenever I'm looking at a project like this, I've had excellent luck with YouTube believe it or not.  Lots of talented people post videos they make while building things like that.
  20. Food for thought:  A permit shows the citizen has proven proficiency, a clean record and mental stability. By the citizen announcing possession, the LEO instantly knows he's not dealing with a dangerous criminal on the loose and a threat is practically non-existent. If I were an LEO, and it's obvious that the person is not impaired in any way physically or mentally and the gun is in a safe location, holstered or in a secured location inside the vehicle, I would personally feel safer to leave it where it's at rather than to cause the gun to be handled  two separate times by two people in just a few minutes. A dropped gun could be more dangerous to all involved IMHO.
  21. The guy should not have been fishing like this, but ill play devils advocate here. Since open carry is legal where this took place, what would have been wrong with the person taking the calls from the public stating to them that open carry is not a crime in that state and is in fact legal.. Is the person you are observing making threatening gestures with the handgun or is the handgun holstered? Does he seem to be impaired in any way or simply walking beside the highway? At the same time the officers could have simply asked to see his permit to carry, said thank you, and everybody went on their way, like they all did in the end anyway. The guy was fishing no doubt and its pretty obvious the camera had a big part to play in this scenario and led to much more drama during the incident by both sides. The guy seemed sober and was not threatening to the LEOs, just stating facts about his rights after the questions started. The officer stated a city ordinance about being required to answer question like that overrode the fifth amendment. I don't think the fact he was walking along the highway or inside the Walmart the policeman mentioned should have made any difference. I don't agree with what the guy did, but I'll have to agree with TMF's comment above on this one.
  22. I'd eat a LOT of FREAK'N ice cream after drinking that crap!!!!!
