I'm not sure, but I don't remember any of the safes I looked at covered contents for any reason. Of course, I wasn't looking at the high end. My budget was in the 1200 to 1500 dollar range.

Well, it covers the safe for free replacement. Contents are not. I do have flood insurance that will cover contents however. It is a lifetime warranty however. http://www.cannonsafe.com/warranty.html

Recommendation for HCP instructor in Chattanooga
Randall53 replied to a topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I took mine at Sportsmans supply on Hixson Pike by Northgate. Good class. A guy named Ron did that one too I believe. He was a member of Chattanooga Swat team. I was transferring my permit from GA at the time. Been about 3 years ago now. -
Pretty much the story everywhere.

What you say is true. That's why I just buy locally. The cost of shipping added to product plus shipping costs makes it cheaper to just go get it here.
-
Actually they are indirectly. I've ordered very little from them anyway. Now they send you an email invoice with the amount of tax you owe and a statement that your required to pay the amount on the statement. At least they did on an order my wife made. Maybe it's because there is shipping center in the county I live in. I usually try to do business locally though anyway if I can.

This will definitely NOT be on MSNBC, or the Piers Morgan commie hour. -
I quit ordering anything from Amazon. After paying shipping AND taxes (which used to offset) it runs the cost up. I'd rather order/buy local anyway.

I've made 2 purchases from Buds. Both went without a hitch. But the last one was about a year ago.

I call :bs: -
Actually, I just bought a safe a month or so ago. I bought a Cannon Scout 72 x 35 x 25. I checked with a lot of companies including Liberty. The thing that won me over to Cannon is the way they do their fire rating and they include flooding in their warranty. No other company I found covers floods, including Liberty. I asked them direct. They said no to floods. I do live in a flood zone, just barely and we've had no flood for almost 20 years, but in one just the same. I paid about 1300 and included shipping (curbside of course). 2 men and a truck (3 in my case since safe was over 400 lbs) moved it into place for $150. edited fer spelling.

What is that? Russian? I'd play it but I'm afraid it might draw the wrath of the Satellites and the foil is getting thin on my hat.

It's extreme liberal thinking, "Progressive" thinking as they attempt to disguise it. In reality it's all about controlling society. Orwell had it nailed, just put the wrong year on the title of his book.

I agree. I was glad to see he signed the letter to Obama.

Dear Randall: Thank you for contacting me with your thoughts regarding the Second Amendment. I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to me, and it is an honor to represent you in Congress. The words of the Second Amendment are clear and direct: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." The 2nd Amendment protects the right to bear arms for all law abiding citizens whether for self-defense, hunting or recreation. Despite the clear language of the 2nd Amendment and a long history of gun ownership in our nation, anti-gun activists across the country are trying to limit and take away the rights of individuals to possess firearms. Such actions are both unconstitutional and a threat to our liberty. As you may know, President Obama revealed his anti-gun proposals to the public on January 16, 2013and called for Congress to pass several anti-gun measures including so called universal background checks for anyone buying a gun, a new "assault-weapons" ban, and tougher penalties on people who buy guns with the "express purpose" of illegal sales. Shortly after the President revealed his anti-gun proposals, I cosigned a letter with several of my colleagues to be sent to the President that expresses our disapproval and our intention to defend the Constitution. We will not support, and in fact we will strongly oppose, any legislation or executive order that prevents law-abiding Americans from responsibly exercising their Second Amendment rights, including any attempt to prevent ownership of certain firearms or ammunition. As public officials we have a duty to ensure that criminals are punished for their acts of violence. But we will not sit idly by while law-abiding citizens are stripped of their constitutional rights and turned into criminals by an overreaching federal government. In the wake of tragedy there are no easy answers. I will always be welcome to thoughtful discussion on how to make our country safer. However, I strongly oppose the idea that we must limit the rights of law-abiding citizens to do so. Legislation like Senator Dianne Feinstein's Assault Weapons Ban of 2013 is not the answer. Statistics have proven that banning certain weapons and having stricter anti-gun policies have no effect on curbing gun violence. The simple fact is that a clear majority of Americans support gun rights. I have always been a strong believer that an armed citizenry is a free citizenry. For this reason you can be assured that I will stand strong in order to protect your Second Amendment Rights and demand accountability from the Obama administration. Thank you again for your concern about this important issue, and I hope you will let me know if I may be of further assistance in the future. Sincerely, Chuck Fleischmann Member of Congress

I agree with Wyldk2. My wife liked the Walther PPKS.....until she shot it that is. After buying one for her she had trouble pulling the slide back, didn't like the weight and it just didn't fit her hand very well. I however like it a lot and do carry it pretty often. Funny thing.....I bought her a couple of fishing rods she didn't like either....that I like a lot.
