  1.   Don't forget the law of supply and demand. We've just seen this with ammo and firearms.  Wait until the demand kicks in to cover the Doctor shortage.
  2. :usa: :usa:      And DAT'S the way WE ROLL..!!!!!
  3. I remember the class I took repeatedly stated once a threat turns away, it's no longer a threat. How can you fear for your life if the threat retreats? In this instance, it's time to call 911 and report an armed robbery.  Whether he was right or wrong I don't know, but you got to think about that guy Zimmerman.....If he hadn't followed the POI, then he'd be a free man today.   Well, at least on the count he's now facing anyway.
  4. Very good driving by the LEO.  He saw the problem and moved over before anyone else did.  Cudos..
  5.   Wow...flashback!  I used to go there back in the late 80's.  You absolutely never knew who was gonna walk out and play. Back then, I saw some real bluegrass legends at the Station Inn. Vassar Clements was a regular and their almost every weekend.  I remember seeing the New Grass Revival band several times too, along with a lot of faces without names of new musicians that could give anyone a run for their money.
  6. Not on the internet.....I won't anyway.  Face to face I will to a degree.  I stop and walk away when their eyes glaze over while I'm talking.  They've stopped listening and just thinking what their gonna say next.
  7. 15 future democrats.....voting for a living while the rest of us works for a living.
  8. I'll have to check again.....I didn't see one earlier. Might have to get a couple then.....J frame and G-30!!
  9. I'd say he should get the same thing every single day.  2 pieces of Bacon and 2 eggs for breakfast.......Grilled cheese with bacon and chips for lunch.......1 fried pork chop, rice and green peas for supper.  Each served with water. Eat it or leave it....Every single day 365 days a year.
  10.   I agree.....I have a J frame that I'd like to have one for also.  Might have to look into that.  Thanks for the heads up!
  11.   The Safariland ALS sounds good, but they don't list one for the Glock 30 and seemed to be limited to the most popular models of pistols.  Understandable, but limits their customer base.
  12. I just looked at a few videos of people pronouncing the Serpa a death holster.  I'm comfortable with mine, but I can see from the videos a difference in the way they illustrate drawing the pistol causing the trigger finger to fire the weapon.  First, I have not found it necessary at all to curve my finger to release the pistol.  I didn't even do this from the beginning of practicing my draw. Anytime I draw a handgun, my trigger finger is straight along the side of the firearm.  Even with the Serpa, I push the release with the "meaty" part of my finger which is straight and NOT using the tip by curving it into the holster.  I don't know why anyone would want to curve their finger and use the tip of their finger. The release is very easy to depress.  A little bit of common sense and fore thought / practice will make this a non issue.  I am very happy with mine, but this holster may not be for everybody.  Use at your own risk!!!!  (Legal Disclaimer...)
  13.   Thanks for the kind words.  Actually I have practiced drawing from this holster quite a bit during the past couple of weeks. Each time I've drawn the pistol, I find my trigger finger tends to land along the bottom of the rail and not close to the trigger. This does help in controlling the pistol until time to fire. I'm not a big guy with huge hands either, but then this is the Glock 30 which is a shorter version of Glock and not full size. This could be the difference.  I could see this being possibility with a full size Glock. I've been thinking of getting one for my Glock 17. I'll keep this in mind.  Thanks for the heads up!
  14.   And that's what I wuz talking about....LOL.  Everybody has different needs.
  15. Now that's a fine looking knife.  Great looking handle too.  I'm impressed with how straight the working edge is and looks so smooth.  You are very talented.
  16. Not for Semi-auto?  WTH is that?  LOL.....I'll wait for the high octane.  I've got 2500 rounds I've had for 2 years. It's locked up in the ammo safe...   Not to say I don't understand those that want to buy what's available.
  17. Here's how I see it....   The term "This ain't your daddies democratic party" is really ringing true now days. The true Liberal Democratic Party is moving extremely left of center.  Of course we all should know that on the far right we have Anarchy, and to the far left we have, well, communism for lack of a better word.  Extreme Right equals no laws or regulation, Extreme Left equals way to much law and regulation. The middle doesn't exist anymore. Both of the parties have really slid to the left a few notches due to the Right's laziness, which skews the center mark from what it used to be. However, this makes the left want to move even further left towards MORE laws and regulation. Can you spell Socialism boys and girls?  LOL....The Tea Party has tried pulling the Republican party back to the right, or even to the OLD center, but the old timers just want to sit out their time and retire without all the stress of battling the left. Most of them are lazy azzes.   The Left is fired up, resilient, has the patience of Job, and has a vision of what they want society to be.  It ain't what most of US have in mind though. Sadly, I don't think the Republicans have the fortitude for the battle, unless something changes.  Ted Cruz is a breath of fresh air. You can tell because he makes the old times nervous. He's new, but he hit the ground running.  A few more like him and they'll have to get off their duffs and actually DO SOMETHING..!!!  Anyway, that's how I seez things at present.
  18. I bought one of these at Optics Planet a month or so ago on sale for my Glock 30 for less than $50 shipped. After wearing it awhile,  I gotta say I am impressed. Impressed with the comfort of carry and the secure way it holds my model 30.   This is a VERY comfortable holster even with the Glock 30 loaded with 11 rounds of Gold Dot 45's.  The pistol canter is adjustable, solid and very firm. The Glock is locked in place with the trigger completely covered and it cannot fall out, or be taken from you easily at all.  Yet,with just a little practice and a very simple finger press at the right location, it's smoothly and without any delay in your hand ready for whatever needs arise.  If I was in Law Enforcement, this would be my holster of choice.  Also comes with a firm belt loop attachment.  I'm in love with the paddle though. I carry the 30 often, and this thing holds tightly to the body, conceals very well and did I say very comfortable?  I'd recommend to a friend....LOL!
  19.   I agree. There rubbing our nose in crap to show the world Obama is a snail with no backbone. It's a proven fact that Obama called NOBODY during Benghazi. He packed for his fund raiser in Las Vegas the next day and went to freak'n bed. I suppose he slept like a baby too knowing Americans were being brutally killed. Several news reports have stated that President Obama didn’t make any phone calls the night of the Sept. 11 attacks on our embassy. During the entire time of the attack, the president of the United States never picked up the phone though Obama was notified of the attack by his staff in a pre-scheduled afternoon meeting.  Fact is, Obama never spoke again with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Martin Dempsey Secretary of State Hilliary Clinton. They also knew immediatly that it was a terrorist attack. Then the White House lies, and even denies the facts hiding them for weeks.   Obama is an embarrassment to our country and to our flag (which was decimated with a picture of himself remember over the stars and flown proudly at some of his campaign offices)
  20. AND.....If you look up Militia in any dictionary, the definition will always reference that a militia is made up of citizens and are considered to be non professional soldiers and NOT members of the armed forces.
  21. "After hours of debate yesterday, the Democrat- controlled House in Colorado passed four gun control bills on a voice vote: House Bill 1224: Limits ammunition magazines to 15 rounds. House Bill 1229: Requires universal background checks for gun sales or transfers. House Bill 1228: Requires gun customers to pay the costs of their criminal background checks by the Bureau of Investigation. House Bill 1226: Outlaws concealed-carry permit holders to pack heat in campus buildings. The official vote will be Monday. The bills then move to the Senate."   This occurred on Friday, the 15th.
  22. I think ya'll are right....I'll keep running the old timey Michelins.....They seem to do fine as long as I run the 80% Nitrogen in them.....
  23.   A Russian friendship is a friendship of necessity....for THEM and nothing more. I agree about Obama.  He is a pawn and don't know it due to his enormous ego. He thinks the world loves him.  Russia is buying gold, but the most valuable gold in the world right now is black gold......OIL. The world cannot survive as we know it without it. Real gold can buy the means to control some really valuable oil fields in the Middle East, which is WAY unstable with no stability in sight. Eventually, control of the worlds oil supplies will be the means of ultimate power over the masses. Russia and China are aligning themselves to be the winners.
  24.   LOL...you have an eye for the future OS......and the future is six months away when you're talking technology.
  25. Internet cafe's and Public Libraries were the thing a few years ago to get on the web.  My Motorola RAZR can surf the net as good as most of these did back in the day.
