The Resistance is beginning...
Randall53 replied to jaxjohn419's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The enemies this time are freedom lovers, people with guns, people with jobs. -
The mag and gun manufacturers don't have a say where or who the distributors sell, but the do have a say over what state they make their goods in. If Magpul take on the expense and moves to a more gun friendly state, then that is a major show of support to the 2nd amendment in my eyes and a blow to the state they leave from in jobs and taxes. I just wish ALL of the manufacturers would do this, but I bet you only see a small number do this. Those are the ones we need to support in my opinion.

I went in a local walmart after work last night about midnight........all they had in bulk was fishing reels where the ammo is supposed to be. I S Y N..... I went :stunned: but they wuz still there. Beat all I ever seen. I thought they might be hiding ammo, but I got out my trusty pocket flashlight and went :squint: but it showed nothing but air behind the reels. So THEN I went  and came home and went to bed.

I understand completely. that's what i was taking about at the end of the post. II'm not really talking about shootouts nor about making our streets a war zone, but rather non compliance en-mass. 30 million gun owners that says nope...not gonna do it. What would they do then? -

Well.....I'd like to think we all would. I'd like to think that the fact so many of our military, all volunteers now consisting of many members here, are currently or have put their lives on the line in foreign countries to protect our freedoms. Many have died in defense of these very freedoms the Left, which includes those that vote for a living, wants to take from us. If we can send our young sons and daughters to fight for our freedoms (mine just got back from deployment) then we should be willing to not comply with their laws IN MASS and suffer the consequences if the non-compliance fails. I do realize it's easy to sit here and say that....quite another matter when your door is beat down by swat teams to take your guns. I hope we can win without this, but New York, I think, is going to be the first test. -

You are right. Lots of comments can be found on news comments sections ect....about the constitution being an outdated document. There's simply a large group of people in this country that want to change it. I too am afraid that eventually they will get it done. Not just the 2nd amendment, but many more freedoms will go along with it. -
Ok...that makes sense...thanks!

I've ordered a Dillon Square Deal and I'm thinking about adding some caliber conversion kits. I'm getting the 38spc 357 and will be adding 45, 380, 9mm and maybe 44 mag (if I ever find the gun I want. :squint:) My question is, how long does it take to change calibers after a person has done this a few times? I've read where a lot of people have 3 or 4 of these things set up because they hate to change calibers.....Is this because of being impatient and in a hurry? Or is it that much of a pain in the arse? I don't have room, nor money for one of each caliber. Thanks for any opinions.

LOL.....A-FREAKING-MAZING...!! -
Actually, y'all helped a lot. I got online and found several sites that was cheaper. Like up to 10 bucks cheaper......I'm not really hurting since I've got 300 rounds of Remington ball......think I'll just wait the dry spell out a while longer and see what happens. I really do appreciate the input!

I'm not sure. It took 6 days for my status to update to life member.....I'm hoping its because they are swamped with upgrades! If the requests are pouring in, I'd say they'll extend it again.

From that video, it looks like we're going to see how non-compliance works. That would probably be the answer. No way could they handle the court cases if millions just said NO! -

It's suppose to be some kind of Polymar coated casing and be better than the old wolf....don't know. I'm going for it and see what happens. I've also got a Ruger P90 that I believe I could shoot nails out of it and it would just smile.....LOL. I've never found anything it wouldn't shoot. Thanks for the replys.....I appreciate it.

When you run....or flee as you call it, it gives them energy, strength, momentum and it gives them courage. This will make them want to pursue all gun owners. At what point do you stop? After they split us all up and pick us off one at a time? Divide and conquer is more than a saying. Every victory they win will spur them on. Stand up to them now or it's over.
