  1. No....TSA is an out of control KNEE JERK organization and they get worse every day.
  2.   You make a GREAT point and I agree with you 100%. It just seems that Liberals have become rabid and just want maximum control over everything.  As much as what you say is very true and would be the best outcome, I'll be extremely surprised if that happens. Maybe Colorado or Maryland one will do this and make the others stop and think.
  3.   No, you sound like the New York Governor wanting to take away everyone's rights, in this instance right to personal decency and privacy, which is what the TSA does everyday.  Search my bags, Xray me. Sure I'll take my shoes off, my belt off, everything out of my pockets.....But when you take your hands and vigorously grope my balls, groin and BH in the name of "security", you are way over the line. The TSA gropes everyone from 3 year olds to 95 year olds in a way that is illegal anywhere. But in an airport your doing it without cause.  In both instances I mentioned, the TSA had nothing to do with stopping the bombers. They were stopped by crew and citizens on the planes.  What good is it to have the TSA vigorously probe everybody's privates here in America in OUR airports and not do it in Paris, France and Amsterdam anyway? I've worked in Nuclear Plants several times recently and even they don't carry on like the TSA does.  The TSA might be your hero's.....but they are not mine.   Oh and all this to the tune of $43 BILLION in 2011 and $57 BILLION taxpayers dollars in 2012......
  4.     Well I say they need to let the taxpayer know if they catch someone trying to hijack a plane. Especially after groping our children and elderly people.  The TSA is overbearing in everything they do.  As far as the ones footing the bill, we don't know if any planes would have flown into any buildings with them or without them. It's only happened one time in my 60 years. You make it sound like everything is top secret, yet the famous shoe bomber and underwear bomber was shouted from the rooftops....but they got on the planes anyway didn't they?  I'm not planning on scuffing my toe and saying I'm sorry.  I've been in the airports and seen 1st hand the people that work at TSA.  I'm NOT impressed at all.  Private airport security could run circles around the TSA without all the waste of taxpayers dollars.
  5. Welcome.  You've found a great place to hang out.  Enjoy yourself!
  6.   PatrOOOOOnnnnnn  :yum: Yeah!  If it just didn't make you wake up 3 states away....and nekkid.
  7.   I hope they do also Dave.   I hope Beretta leaves Maryland, and it's looking very much like a very real possibility.   I hope every gun, ammo, or accessory manufacturer in any state that pulls this crap packs up and moves out. I'm gonna be watching and will spend my money at the companies that support our rights.   Here's the best article I've seen on what's happening in Colorado and Magpul:    http://www.denverpost.com/breakingnews/ci_22593693/colorado-ammo-magazine-maker-threatens-leave-state-over   Here's the best article I've seen on Beretta:   http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/02/24/berettas-dont-bluff-major-gun-company-threatens-to-leave-maryland-over-new-gun-control-proposals/
  8. well, a lot can be said about dependability with no FTF or FTE or stovepiping, but most lightweights today are 5 rounders.  That's the only drawback I guess, but could be an important one in some situations.  I'd rather have 15 or 17 if I had a choice of course.
  9. Welcome Dave.  Need help moving?  LOL....just kidding.  Enjoy the site.  Best firearms owner forum on the net from Gods country......Tennessee.
  10. I do like wheel guns.  I have a couple.  My favorite is the S&W 642 38 Special. I bought last year from Buds Guns.  They had a shipment of the lockless 642's and I grabbed one.  It's a great carry in the summer with cargo shorts.  It fits in the baggy front pocket and hides excellent.
  11.   BINGO.....
  12. I hope that all those conservatives that stayed home on election day because they just "didn't like Romney"  are happy now.  He wasn't my first choice either, but I did at least understand the importance of removing Obama from office at all costs, then regrouping in 2016.  The Left has decided they are an unstoppable machine.  People......the midterm elections are gonna mean the life or death of America as we know it.
  13. They can stick that where the sun never shines. I'll sell my 10/22 before I even pay $50 for a brick. That has GOT to be a miss print.....
  14. The attack on our rights is sill young. Give them time.
  15. Obama honesty? Yeah and I own a herd of unicorns....LOL!
  16. Now we gotta watch for counterfeit lowers that are really airsoft lowers? Geeze!
  17. I'd cut the TSA immediately.  Worthless bunch of economic bloodsuckers.
  18.   How many would you guess?  There's a lot of people under the trees on both sides of the pic if you look close, plus we aren't seeing everyone since it seems to be quite a few walking towards the thing. I don't know.  I don't think 7000 is far off.
  19. Nope....looks like some if it got cut....
  20. I found some Estate .45acp today at some hole in the wall online and ordered 200 rounds.  Brass, FMJ. It had some good reviews. My Glock 30 has been begging to go to the range.  Guess I'll see how it likes the Estate.   Thanks for all the info.  I almost bought some of the Prvi yesterday, but let it get away while trying to make up my mind.
  21. Sarcasm?....nope. Just a lighthearted post on how old people camp is all. No malice intended..... I did a lot of hiking and back country camping when I lived in Glenwood springs Colorado 30 years ago. Back then you had to stand on the bait bucket to keep the trout out of it. I wore one of those hats with lures in it once and got tired of chasing the damned thing down. The trout kept jumping up and taking it off my head.
  22. I love backcountry camping.....sitting by the fire in front of my 30ft fifth wheel, 30" LCD TV, gas grill........noth'n like it I say!!!
  23. From what I've seen, Hipower, the PMC Bronze goes really quick when a website has some.  Must be pretty good.  I've noticed that some of the brands are slow moving.  I guess I'll try some PMC Bronze next time I run across some.   Reed1285.....If you shoot some and get time, let me know how the independence works out.  I have seen some of that but was not sure about buying any.
  24. Since ammo is so scarce, I was wondering what off brands are you guys buying?  I've seen Freedom Arms (remanufactured) Federal Estate, PMC, RWS, Armscorp, Prvi Partizan (whatever that is...) to name just a few brands I've never used that are out there.  The old staple bulk ammos like Winchester, Remington, and the like are harder to find.
