  I used to shoot bowling pin tournaments years ago.  The secret back then was shooting about 3-4 inches up and to the side maybe an inch. The heavy weight is in the bottom of the pin and the side shot would spin the pin off the table 45acp was what I shot back then.  Lots of fun.

  Head of security at UTC Chattanooga has stated that no guns will be allowed on campus at all.  Permit holders include in the ban.   My take on this whole bill is it's worthless as far as changing anything. Every place that was banned before will still be banned.

I read an article that stated the liberals are zeroing in on Texas for sure. The plan, it was stated, is to turn Texas to Blue.  If their plan succeeds they feel they will have the electoral votes to take full control.  Congress, Senate and the White House. After Texas the article said Florida was next on the radar.  Even though Obama won Florida, is was a very tight race and they want Florida to be a very strong blue state, making the Left unbeatable in the electoral voting arena.  If they get what they want, we may as well just have a Socialist dictator in Washington.

You are so right.  The news said earlier that the motorcycle was rear ended by the car, no sure about any details.  Motorcycles certainly are everywhere today.

Seeing ammo sell out at legit stores like Cabelas for instance in an hour and pop up on forums or other websites in a day or two at 35 - 75 percent increase. its also amazing that people buy it at such inflated prices. Maybe the IRS is watching all these sales.....ya just never know these days.

Bottom line: ANYONE That enjoys the shooting sports, and YES it is a sport, needs to be involved. Every aspect, shooters. (You and me), firearm manufacturers, mag manufacturers, scope manufacturers, ammo manufacturers had better get in line. Or we will ALL go down in flames.....sleep and you'll wake up in a nightmare,

I understand....and everyone is different. Your description is exactly what an electric does to me. I have a $100+ electric that I just can't use. My neck looks like raw hamburger after shaving even lightly with it. I went back to the old safety razor with the old fashioned double edge blade, shaving cream, and brush and I'm happy with it.

Congrats!!! I'm sure you've done this, but get her to the range with the carry method and practice draw and fire starting slowly and build her confidence in the system she's decided to use. Repetition and muscle memory is where it's at.

  Thanks....he's really disappointed. We're looking at options.   I'd say the best proof there has been no cut in welfare is there's no rioting in every city in the country and no neighborhoods being burned to the ground in protest.  Just an educated guess since I'm sure those on welfare would not take any cut of any kind laying down.

Talk about pissed........   My step-son is 19. He's an awesome young man.  He graduated High School at 16 and joined the National Guard at 17 with a contract to pay for his college.  At Ft. Sill, He finished 1st out of 250 in his "boot camp" training. He then finished 1st out of another group of about the same number in his AIT training at the same location. He finished his first semester of college and half of the second while in the NG before he turned 18 with a 3+ point average. He's been back less than a week from a 1 year deployment to the Middle east and has been working towards getting signed up for another year of college (he took a second semester online while deployed).  While deployed he signed up for 6 more years.  Well, he found out yesterday that his financial assistance contract with the Guard is no more.  No more assistance for college at all. Due to budget cuts of our military. Of course his pay was cut before he got back home. He's been making less than he made when he left, even with time and and rank increase.  Talk about a %$*& up situation....     But the good news is this: Welfare is just fine...no cuts in pay or bennies for those folks. They're just fine with their welfare check and all the money they can make from drugs.   End of rant.

I've not bought anything above the pre panic price.  I refuse to do it.  I've bought 700 rounds of .45 and about 500 rounds of .380 here and there at walmart at their regular prices. 9mm is a different story, but I've got plenty of that anyway.  I've had the biggest problem with 22lr. I'm always a day late.  I've got about 1500 rounds that I've had a while.  I have one 1/2 brick left out of a regular 550 round brick of remington with a $7.95 price tag (pre Obama price) on it and another with a $17.00 price tag on it unopened (last panic attack price). I'd rather sell my 10/22 for $350 than buy 1,000 rounds of 22lr for $350.

I everyone would just quit buying the jacked up ammo the problem would soon be fixed. The douch bags would stop buying out every load that comes in if they lost their asses one time. The manufacturers would catch up and bam...back to normal....in theory anyway.
