Yeah, we had a great time. It was by far the best AK I have ever shot. Just like the 1911, it is hard for me to justify buying another one because it wont come close to the gun I got from you. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

I just ordered a rifle kit that has everything minus the stripped lower for $316 shipped. I have an extra lower that I got on sale for $29 so I picked up a few. Even if you add the whole $10 for bcc and add the tax it was $42. That makes the whole rifle under $360. I cant belive how cheap they have gotten. I picked this one up for one of my kids to play with when they get older. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

That sounds just like something he would do.

I played football for a long time and have worked in the sports and radio industriesand I have met a lot of "celebrities". The one that impressed me the most was Rasheed Wallace. He was the nicest celebrity I met. We had lunch togther on a regular basis for about 3 years. He is also the largest person I have ever met. He was like a wall, his size did not convey on tv that well.

I lost most of my pics when I moved to Atlanta. My parents might still have a few, I am pretty sure I left some at their house. I will see if I can get any up. I know i did not have a camera phone then.

Well not exactly. I have had some pretty cool jobs that allowed me to work with some cool people. I just lead a very boring personal life, but I just found out that I used to hang out with someone most of you know. I went to Western Michigan which is right across the street from Kalamazoo college. My best friend was on their comedy troop there so I used to hang out with them A LOT. While chatting with my friend he asked me what i thought of Steven getting so famous. I was really confused and told him i had no idea what he was talking about. He described some times we all hung out, it started to come back to me. We got a good laugh about the fact i was to dumb to pick up that Glen from the Walking Dead was a college friend of mine (I knew him as Steve)

I saw one of these last year about this time and it had killed a beetle and had a needle like thing going into the back of the beetle. I looked and looked and could not find anything online that resembled it. I did not have a camera on me last year so no pics. I was just in the garden and noticed about 5 on my tomato plants so I snapped a couple pics in hopes the collective intelligence of TGO could tell me what these things are.

I absolutely LOVE my 320. Every time I take it to the range I spend most of my time shooting it. I like just as much as any of my other sigs, and the price was great.

you know a tread has been around for a while when most of the people are no longer around.

I am working on turning a Nagant create into a golf locker. It fits both my bags with a shelf on top for shoes and other stuff. I will post pics when it is done.

Our power was out for 2 days, we made it just fine other than the kids getting a little worked up because we made them stay in 1 room. I learned a couple of things that would make it better for us. #1 if you think you have enough wood, double it.(same rule for ammo) #2 Get emergency blankets. We put blankets over the doorways for the room with the fireplace, emergency blankets on each side of the thick blanket would be better #3 A couple of those battery packs that can recharge phones/ ipads/ laptops etc would be helpful for the kids #4 I need a LED lantern that can light a whole room. 3 kids with flashlights not a good idea. We had fun and the kids (all 4 under 5) liked our "camp out". Day 2 was a little rough because the kids could not leave the room as much because it was 40 degrees in the rest of the house. I tried to keep them in the 75degree room but they really wanted to go and play. I think we did just fine considering I have not really prepped for cold day power outages.

In full disclosure I need to state that I do know the owner and designer of this Item. This is not a attempt to drum up sales, I just want to pass on a great item that will change the way you train with your AR. I purchased a Dry fire device made by Friendsville Precision. It has completely changed my attitude about training with my AR. Before I got it I hated having to rack the charging handle after every trigger pull. I was only doing drills with my AR about 1 or 2 times a month. When I did it was only for about 10 minutes because I just felt like I was wasting more time racking and reacquiring my target than actually pulling the trigger. Since I have gotten it I have been training every night and have found myself actually enjoying it. When I heard about this I was a little skeptical about the ease of use, a lot of things for guns that say they are easy tend to be harder because I have smaller hands, this was super easy to install and use. Here is a video of it being used.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiacwLw3jS8&feature=youtu.be I think this should be something that EVERY AR owner should have.

Anyone know anything about North Georgia North of Atlanta?
LI0NSFAN replied to Ladyhay's topic in General Chat
I lived in Buford for 4 years and my mom still lives there. I would first make sure that you live close to work. If you move to Gainsville make sure your job is north of Buford. I will not move back only because of the traffic. We lived in Buford and my wifes job was in Johns creek 15 miles away. It NEVER took less than an hour to get to or from work. On most days it was a 2 hour trip. So every day she left 2 hours early and just killed time doing other things if she was lucky enough to make it under 2hours. I was fortunate that we live within 5miles of work and it only took me 30 mins to get to work. We now have kids and I cant imagine spending all that time in a car away from the kids. The housing almost drew us back but my mom advised us against it. She told us that the traffic has gotten worse in the northern area. We were going to move to Auburn, we found a 6 bedroom 5000sq/ft house for under 200k, it would have been great for this family of 6. We looked at our commute to potential jobs and it was just to much of a commute. As a side not- we went to braves games a lot and it was a 9-10hr event 5 hours was spent in a car. we spent more time in a car than at the game, but we were newly married with no kids and did not mind sitting in a car that long. -
I think the more 40degree days are keeping the deer a little more active later into Dec, add in the shortened daylight there are probably more accidents. We used to see an increase in MI every time it would stay warmer longer in the year. They said it was due to the rush hour being in the dark and the deer being more active later. The extra food may be the reason for more vultures.
