Most heavily-armed states in America
LI0NSFAN replied to ou812's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The part of the story that made me believe it was done by someone that does not understand the gun industry is when DC came in second with 66 guns per person. The only way to get to that number is if you count all the guns owned by the government to protect the capital. With the laws they have there I don't see that many people amassing 66 guns. The manager said they did not walk up a Springfield. The looked through the paperwork for the hour I was waiting and one was not sold. When I got back from paying for the TICS I did not see it on the counter, but I just figured that it was sat somewhere else because the back counter was full. There was probably 10 guns sold during the time I was there. I left this out to shorten the OP. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

Yep, same guy I had an issue with before. The entire staff said he is a horrible employee. He has just walked out at the end of his shift without letting anyone know several times this holiday season. I think he might finally be fired. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

I went in to look around with no intention on buying a gun. I saw a sign that said Clearance and had a list of long guns and hand guns. I spotted a freaking good deal. Service XD with gear in 357 sig for $277.98. I asked to see one and the employee handed me an xd and I did a quick feel and look and said I will take it. He sent me up front to pay the TICS. I came back and stood in line for about an hour. I was starting to get really mad at this point. It was finally my turn. I filled out all the paperwork and they went to get the gun to put in the serial number, and poof the gun was gone. The guy that originally helped me apparently just up and left because his shift was over. The poor employee that was helping me was frantically looking for it with no luck. To make the story shorter they never found the gun. The manager apologized like 30 times and ended up selling me a XD mod 2 in .40 for the price of the other gun. I walked out happy-ish with a mod 2 for 303otd and just went to the Springfield website and got my 2 free mags mag holster and soft case for free. Now all I need to do is get a 357 sig barrel and I will be happy. I will end up with the gun, 4 mags, 2 mag holsters, gun holster, speedloader, a hard and soft case and a storm lake 9mm barrel all for under $450 Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

We have a side business that has me in strange neighborhoods at 2-3 am and I usually meet the local PD. A Stange SUV driving slowly looking for house numbers does look very suspicious. I just know that I am doing nothing illegal and after a short conversation with the LEO we have a good laugh and we are on our way. I have never once thought I was being targeted or accused of anything. I think as long as you are on the up and up you should never take offense of them doing their job. This is what we used at our cabin. http://www.plowhearth.com/mobi/corner-doorway-fan.htm?aff=6443&CAWELAID=884084635&CAGPSPN=pla&catargetid=530007710000051338&cadevice=m&gclid=CjwKEAiA7MWyBRDpi5TFqqmm6hMSJAD6GLeAnzjmIdDnENoNuibza3Ab9vO8xMBNLzuDbNVK5_9oPhoCnITw_wcB best link I could find. We picked ours up at HD about 5 years ago. They work great. The ones we got allowed the door to still open and close with no problem. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

I did not ask where it was shot but he did admit it was not a recent pic. If it was at a game ranch I have lost a little respect for him. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

I see what you did there. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

Most of the state is very proud hunting from what I have seen but there are large pockets of extreme liberalism and they ruin all the fun. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

Ok got the scoop, this is an old pic from 2013. He did not want it up because a lot of his family is against hunting and his work is very antihunting. Someone that got mad at him, hacked his FB posted it and got their desired result, he is being harassed at work and certain family members have sworn not to talk to him. So out of respect for him I will be taking the pic down. Just to clear up the illegal/legal to hunt wolves. In 13 it was legal, 14 and 15 it was not but because of the July ruling they are planning a 16 season. I got that straight from a resource officer. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

Wolves are native to Michigan, they then disappeared for a while and came back in the early 2000s. That ruling was overturned in July. http://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/2015/07/15/michigan-gray-wolf-hunt/30192533/ Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

I know we could shoot coyotes if the kept coming back to the farm. I am wondering if it was one they tried to scare off several times and it kept coming back. I highly doubt they would have posted it if it was not legal. I do know that Michigan had a wolf hunt last year. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

He is not tiny, but not a big guy. We are about the same size. 5 ft 7 and 200lbs Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

They got rough weight of 120#. Almost 7ft snout to tip of tail. I am sure those are close to true. They are going to call a DNA officer to look and measure it. I have seen some big ones in the UP but that is really big for what I have seen. Full disclosure, I am getting all info second hand through a family member. I do know him just don't have his cell to text him. I will try to call him at work to get info straight from him. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

I have not tried a mark anything but there are tons more videos on the marks than the grendals. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

I am thinking about making a YouTube video. There is nothing out there on reassembly of the p12. Now that I have done it once it should be easy to replicate. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

At one time I was picking up project guns all the time. 4 kids later I have more project guns than I need. I was cleaning up my gun areas and came across the Grendal p12 I picked up from a guy who fully stripped the gun down and could not reassemble it. I picked it up for $30 figuring the 2 mags it came with would fetch more than I paid. It has haunted me for 3 years, I decided 1 more try and I would just part it out. I began with the same results I have been getting everytime before. Then I had some ideas and tried them out. After using the mag a dime and a penny nail I was able to get that freaking thing together. I racked it and pulled the trigger, click, it functions. All that is left is a live fire test. I can't belive it went back together. Here is a pic of my free gun. $30 for gun and 2 mags. Sold 1 mag for $35. After I buy paint to recoat I should only be out my time. This is a great listen. It is amazing how it all is playing out. http://sevierheights.org/sermons/an-alliance-against-israel/ I think of this everytime things start to get worse over there. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

It will depend on my lower weight. Most likely MAG upper. I might just use one of the uppers I already have if it looks like I can get close to 5 with just a barrel, bcg, and hand gaurd exchange Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

Thanks, I might take you up on that. I am planning on one of those stocks. It should put my lower right at 1lb. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
