  1. I noticed after I completed my transaction that the TGO discount was taken off but either way still a good deal.
  2. Or a stripped lower for $37 shipped by picking the stripped lower instead. Dolo must have hit enter 1 sec before me.
  3. I thought I would pass this deal on. I just got a New Frontier complete lower shipped to my ffl. Gear hog is running a deal for JoeBobOutfitters here is the link http://www.gearhog.com/?rf=259585 I paid $15 for a $30 voucher. I went to JoeBOBS Website and bought the New Frontier Armory LW-15 GENII Complete AR15 Polymer Lower Receiver-Black for 109 shipped. Then add the TGO discount by adding TN to the coupon space. and then pay with your voucher, bringing your total at Joe bobs to $74.45 plus the $15 at Gearhog = $90 shipped
  4. I really like a single shot for hunting. I like you just don't think I would last 5 minutes with the moron coming at me with a semi auto. I did coose to go with guns that are limited by tube/cylinder, but I think my well placed 3 shots will be better than mosts spray and pray style so having to carry 15 mags fully loaded is silly to me.
  5. Sorry I thought I put the link to it, here it is https://danieldefense.com/components-parts/upper-half/sights/rail-mounted-fixed-front-sight.html
  6. I just had my father in law weigh my daniel defense fixed front off my AR and it came in at 1.07 oz.
  7. Man I was really looking forward to a trigger kit. How about a unicorn for one.
  8. I stumbled across this yesterday and had never seen one so I scooped it up. I went home and tried to look it up and found that they are just hard to find info on. I love the fact that this has a 16.5inch barrel. I took it out to the range today and it shot great. I will get some pics up in the morning, I repeatedly tried getting the wrong password in my photobucket so they locked me out. Does anyone else out there own one of these? Does your model 90 have any issues I should look out for. I cannot find anybody on the internet that has anything bad to say about them.
  9. Posted Yesterday, 11:00 PM I was really expecting that this question had been asked before but couldn't find anything; at least not with the words I was searching on. My everyday carry gun is a G31; I also usually have my G20 or G21 with me as a backup. 1. Was gunsmithing needed (I understand that is almost or always needed with the Bar Sto)? I have a LW and it was just a drop in. 2. Were you happy with the change/would you do it again or do you think it was a wast of time and money, etc.? I will do it to every Glock I get. Makes it able to shoot anything you can get your hands on JIC 3. What brand would you recommend if you were buying one today and/or are there other brands I should be considering other than the ones I mentioned? I like my Lone Wolf 4. I'm wondering about whether making this kind of change on a carry weapon is even something I should consider at all? I did notice it worked a lot beter with a new recoil spring/rod
  10. Living in 4 of the 5 has not been bad at all. It seems like most of the crime in these places is not as random as you would think. Most of the killings are drug deals gone bad or disrespecting someone you know. I have always keep my nose clean and I was never affected by the high crime rate in those cities. However I live in safe Knoxville where I have had my cor broken into 3 time and my wife's work was held up by gun point, and the bank I use has been robbed 4 times this year. So as sad as it is I fear for my safety more here than I did in any of those 4 cities. It seems the northern areas of those cities seem to be the safest. I lived on the norther edge of flint, Detroit, and St Louis, and the Germantown side of Memphis. Keep your nose clean and be respectful to all and you can survive any city.
  11. I have lived in 4 out of the 5. I guess that is why I have no fear.
  12. I used to play in the warm water that they pumped back in to the lake when I was younger. It was the only place that you could swim all year long. I remember swimming on New Years eve, It was 20 degrees out and the lake was frozen other than around those pipes, The water was about 75 degrees. I guess that is why I glow at night!
  13. Not fun I had it done when I was 17. It took me about 6mo to get full use back and another 4 months until the strength was back to full. This may be a little harder when your not a 17 yo that has nothing better to do than rehab. I will say that the recliner and pillows will be your best friend for some time. As Sam said get the best Dr. the area has and make sure to listen to him to the letter. I have had several sport related surgeries and this was not the most painful but it was the most frustrating. Nothing humbles you like not being able to put your pants on with out wearing yourself out.
  14. That was 11 years ago and the bounty hunters are made by a different manufacture now.
  15. I do not like being touched at all other than a handshake(even family). It took 6months for me to sleep after getting married because my wife would put her arm on me in the night and I would wake up in a panic. If I paniced when a hot woman(my wife) touched me you can only imagine how I feel when another guy touches me. I love my personal space!!!
  16. I have a windicator and love it. It is a little heavy but I have never had an issue with it. Everyone that shoots it is impressed by it. I would buy another EAA wheel gun. The plus side is the price, if you don't like it you can always sell it for a little loss. Let us know how it goes I have been looking at the Bounty Hunter and would like to hear what you think of it.
  17. I question the video, if he was seen as that big of a threat to send secret service and not the local FBI then I doubt they would question him in the comforts of his porch and let him video it. I have several friends in law enforcment and heard stories of them having to do the government leg work. I might be real but just seems off to me and several of the questions are weird, asking if his guns are registered as mike wrote don't need to in Texas. Maybe it is real who knows.
  18. I went to Petsmart and got me 3 bags and put them in a bucket to scoop out of and I go no dust as well.
  19. I think that it is more sifted for pets. dust is not good for there lungs.
  20. Exactly my thought on a 22. great for small game and plinking but I would not trust it to take down anything 10lbs or bigger with one shot without great placement.
  21. Wifes only day off this week so we have plans to go to the mountains
  22. Sucks I can't get there, It would help me get started cheap.
  23. Petsmart has either the bird or the lizzard bedding on sale almost everyweek. I have a friend that has a lizzard and he said with the petperks card, petsmart is by far the way to go. I get the dogs food there so next time I am there I will throw in a bag.
  24. I did get revolvers, I prefer revolvers.
