Caroline is out of Children's and is at home doing great. Now time to get some sleep.

First reports made it sound like it was attacked. Is this what things have come to, everything is an attack until proven otherwise. It is a very sad situation and I think the media should treat it like that until it is proven to be an attack.

Just like the other 2 kids did she is on her way to Children's Hospital with dehydration. We are not sure what is wrong, if she is like the other 2 she will spend a couple of days there and will be fine and back home. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

That's what family and a night in the hospital will allow, but that will be the last night of sleep I really get.

I think it is silly that people are not just happy you guys are doing something nice for us. Really where can you get a billet lower right now? I don't expect stripped lowers to get that cheap for a while an you get the added bonus of having the logo of this great forum on it. We are all here because of the great group of people on here an I am excited to show off a TGO AR.

My daughter Caroline was born this morning at 4:26. She was 8#6oz and 19 inches long. Both mother and daughter are doing great! This makes us a family of five, and makes 3 under 3.

I put down for 2 but might get 4 depending on the date we pay for them. It would be nice to get consecutive numbers for the family if possible.

It looked like the bill was going to make the whole US run background checks like we already do here in TN. FFL has to run a background check, but now they have to do it through a national database. I wonder what the National database will cost to fund. I foresee a $50+ BC fee.  I am getting most of the info off of the mainstream media sites so some info could be slanted.

Read a little about it. They finally compromised on what to put in the bill. It still has to get the votes to be put up for a vote and then it has to pass the house and senate, it is expected to fail. Even if it does passes, it looks like private sales are safe. Everything I read says that it is only addressing FFL transactions. That could easily change before the bill gets voted on. I expect this to be an extremely long process as long there is no 2am holiday votes like in NY

I can't find any info on the announcement. I know they are voting today but a filibuster is expected. It is just a matter of time though.

It is funny that the suburbs have to pay the tax for the Cities crime. Why doesn't the city have to pay the tax?

When we were struggling to pay off bills we had very limited money for food and extras. Almost every time I went shopping I was behind a person with an EBT card and I got so mad looking at how well they eat and looking back at my food I was using to just get by and feed my kids. we have a family member that makes 50k plus on government money. They get welfare, food stamps, WIC, Disability, and live in section 8 (in a very nice place) for 300mo inc all utilities. I know they were looking into the free cells but they did not like the options they could get.

All the "rare" ones are stacked at the service desk. They are starting to get their Monarch brand back in and I was able to pick up some good deals on 308, 30-30 and 30-06 . #08 was the only one of those that was limited.

walked into the one here in Knox and had my choice of ammo other than 22lr. Plenty of everything at 11am.
