I am a flashlight addict.  I have mostly Surefire and Streamlight.   Surefire is rock solid but sooooo expensive and streamlight is a lot of bang for the buck.   Something I can say about Surefire is their customer service.  I had an Aviator that had some issues so I sent it back 3 times.  That was very aggravating but it gets better.  On the 3rd time I was worn out on spending my money on tracking so I just sent it regular mail without tracking.  I know that was stupid but I was so tired of $15 to ship.  When I called Surefire, they never got it or the guy in the mail room enjoyed my Aviator.  Customer service listened to my story apologized for my inconvenience and sent me a brand new Aviator free of charge.  THAT IS SOLID!  

I'm looking at putting a RMR on my M4 but after looking in to it, the MOA stuff has my head swimming.  I thought I kinda had a handle on the MOA thing until trying to pick a RMR.    Which RMR would you put on a shotgun?     Thank you in advance...   Terry  

    Are all of them in Spring Hill?    I've been to Hobby Lobby in Brentwood and if you aren't in their club already, it's hard to get "in".

I'm really looking forward to a property survey at my place.   You can setup waypoints and it will fly over them and return home.

Santa brought me a DJI Phanotom Vision + for Christams.    I got lots of Heli and fixed wing time plus some Parrot AR Drone time.   I wondered if anybody else has flown them.  Favorite companies for parts, best source for info, pitfalls?  I want to stay ahead of the learning curve.   I am really looking forward to the video recording capibility.   Tw

Oh, good idea!   Just so I understand, without the original CAD files it's not going to be as easy as the place I bought them from said?  It was almost as if they were encouraging me to get them done locally from the PDF.  They offer a CAD file for sale but said I didn't need that to get it modified.  I wonder why?    Tw

Oh, I undrestand what you are saying, it makes sense. Hmmmmmm...   When I bought the plans they said it so matter of fact that having the plans in PDF format I could get them modified by them or any other draftsman.  Are we missing something?   Thank you for the reply PJ

My wife and I have purchased a set of "off the shelf" blueprints in PDF format and want to make some changes.  We have written permission from the architect to modify the plans.  I have spent over an hour just downloading different programs thinking I could modify them myself and I am over that idea.  The changes we want would be no more than cut and paste type. i.e. doors changed from swinging to pocket doors, windows moved and removed etc.  No structural changes involved. If anyone can spend some time with me and my PDF I'd really appreciate it.    Please PM me if you can do this..   Thank you very much.   Tw

I've got a friend that built this for me. He and his nephew build it in a few weeks and the quality is fantastic. We went from 2 Conex containers to this barn and it'll be a tax write-off and we won't be throwing money down a hole in rent or a building that will rot away in a few years. 24x30 Hardie board with Galvalume roof. He's west of Nashville.

  My laptop crashed and it wasn't worth any attempt at fixing the motherboard.  So, I pulled the HD and want to get my personal files/photos out of Numbers, Pages and Keynote.  I've connected with the HD and can view the drive I just can't find my files.  Where do I look trying to find them? I've ask a couple "Data Recovery" businesses and they want too much for just knowing where to look..     Thank you in advance....     Terry

Oh, I did not know that.  I'll try that tomorrow.  Yes, it does really flare with the brightness.. I hope you are right because I really don't want to be mad at Aimpoint.  Will the tail of the flare stay in the same spot if I rotate the Pro?

  When I got mine the dot had a flair off to the 4 o'clock position, It looks like a comet.  I should have exchanged it but I didn't, I sent it to Aimpoint and they said they couldn't see it AFTER they sent it back to me.  Well after a bunch of back and forth no more sending it in for exchange as that ship had sailed.  Aimpoint said it was normal and as far as they were concerned my Pro was perfect..  It bugs the hell out of me.  I was real disappointed with their customer service. 

    Romad, It's just like the first one.  Now, I see it really wouldn't be good for much in the civilian world, ie pig hunting or anything fun.    I can get it for a real good price and I thought maybe I could use but I see it's not worth the time or the money..   Thanks for the help..   Tw

    If you say so.   I have it in my hands and I currently don't have anything NV but I hope to some day (come on lotto!).  Would this be something an average Joe/Terry would like to have in his tool bag if he ever owns anything NV?    Tw
