  1. Anyone here done this before? We have talked about it in our family but wanted to hear from folks who have done it. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  2. I think I heard october as well. I drive by the murfreesboro show site every day. If I see the signs out friday, I will post and let you know. They generally put yard signs out a day in advance. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

    New Addition

I have the blued finish and really wish I had gone with hard chrome. I would love to find someone local to cera coat or refinish in hard chrome, but I don't know of anyone in middle TN and I don't want to mail it off. On the pinky extension, with the +1 I don't really notice a difference in my pocket. The curved pinky extension does seem to print worse than the +1.....at least with my pocket holster.

Adamant, is that a hard chrome gun or is it blued and just the lighting makes it look like HC? I forgot to mention grips in my post above. Without a grip or mag extension, the gun is not very fun to shoot IMO. With either of those, it gets much better. I also use the Handall Jr grip sometimes, depending on how I carry. I don't like the feel of it when I carry. There has been some talk on thektog.org site about Tractiongrips. I will probably be trying those soon, but with a magazine extension, the grip really does not bother me too much.

I love my P3AT and use it most of the time for my EDC. It is so easy to carry, you forget it is there. I added the finger extension to one magazine and the +1 extension to the other. The +1 serves as a great finger extension with the added benefit of having another round, so I will probably add antother +1 to my other magazine. I primarily use a pocket holster in front or rear strong side, but occasionally carry it with the belt clip, in a tuckable holster or with a belly band type holster. I just saw a really cool laser for it from laserlyte that is much lower profile than all of the others I have seen.....and it was under $100. Only negative I see is that you lose the belt clip option. These little guns can be picky on ammo and I would advise you do a fluff and buff as soon as you can. Enjoy the P3AT!
  7. I had the 9mm version in the 90s and I kick myself for selling it. I remember I did break a firing pin, but other than that, it was a fantastic weapon. Seems like I recall it winning Handgun of the Year in Guns and Ammo in the early 90s IIRC.
  8. I bought a Kholster IWB recently which I understand is similar to Crossbreed (though I have not owned a Crossbreed). Great price and I really love it.
  9. I ordered the Pistol Wear PT-2 and it should be here any day. My wife actually runs much more than I do but I can't seem to get her to carry when she runs. I can always tell when it is a bad dog day when she comes back and her eyes are red from pepper spray flying back at her. Hoping to get her to carry the P3AT when she runs since it is very light.....more for protection from critters of the two legged variety.
  10. Erik88, thanks for posting this additional question. I have also seen state parks that say "no firearms" and I was a little concerned at the time. Thanks to all who responded.
  11. Thanks. Much of the info I was finding on the web was outdated.
  12. I have been watching the boards for quite a while but this is my first post. What a wealth of information you guys are. Went to a national battlefiled in East TN this weekend. I was thinking National Parks were okay to carry in now for a CP holder, but I was surprised to see a gun buster sign on the door of a visitor center. Okay for a CP holder to carry in a national park in TN, .....just not in a posted federal building such as a visitor center, right?
