  1. Well, OK, it's dual purpose, and has my living room in it too.
  2. Here is the UT Ag Extension Office (i.e. the State of TN) booklet on protecting property and crops from pests of all natures https://utextension.tennessee.edu/publications/Documents/pb1624.pdf
  3. in protecting his garden, my dad shoots dozens of various rodents, lagomorphs, & other vermin & varmint species every year. Some newer neighbors did not like it, so they reported him to the authorities last year. The attending deputy mistakingly told him he was breaking the law. Dad went to both TWRA and the Anderson Co sherriff for clarification. Both agencies cited applicable regs/law and told him to keep doing it (and/or poison/trapping) if he wished to protect his property from damage. So, it plays OK in Anderson Co. Not sure how it would work in Nashville, Memphis, etc. but It is apparently not a state level issue.
  4. Absolutely possible. As a young 6-7 yr old kid, I did it once. Caught it out in the open yard, were we ran in ever closing circles. I jumped "across" the circle (i.e. cheated) and tackled it. Carried it into the house (both of us squeeling like pigs), and watched mamma & the cat go absolutely beserk a microsecond after I lost my grip on the bunny (the cat quickly caught it and mom released it outside).
  5. SO, here is the Snopes link (where the photo url code came from) - http://snopes.com/ph...giantrabbit.asp <edited>
  6. <Bert's webcrawler-crap induced rant removed>
  7. Not with pickles, I hope.... Dolomite know about all of this ?
  8. New giant rabbit photo to replace the one hacked by the libtard, anal retentive website which claims be an authority on matters of truth. Same rabbit, BTW. A Flemish Giant, raised in Germany. It is famous for producing the 12 offspring sent to DPRK for a rabbit farming venture, but were actyually eaten for lunch by Kim Jong Il (all 12, same dinner).
  9. Last time I priced shipping at an Oak Ridge area FEDEX outlet (maybe 3 years ago), they cited "company rules" that handguns had to be shipped via overnight, and it was ~$65. I found another route. B.
  10. February - Cash Seizure http://www.kcrg.com/...-139307098.html April - charges filed against RK Shows Company http://wcfcourier.co...ca7b21f5bc.html In the April 2 article, Rex not charged (yet). Maybe someone can find a more recent update
  11. I have some .204 Ruger data that I worked up and am willing to share privately on Barnes 26, Dogtown 34, Berger 35, Hornady VMAX 32 & VMAX 40. It is second stage testing. In .204 Ruger, over the five projectiles I am testing, WC-842/SMP-842 (mine has both, WC over top of SMP) is a minimum of 15%-20% *hotter* than CFE223 data. Contact me via PM if you need a place to start on these projectiles. Be careful working up new calibers in this one. It surprised me on the Dogtown 34s. It was 25-30% over what I expected (I was using reduced CFE data for Berger 35 as a starting point). I STRONGLY SUGGEST USING A CHRONO ON THIS. Bert
  12. Sis will be calling y'all....
  13. posted photographs of guns on Facebook - recalled home. Quigley is rolling in his grave..... http://blogs.news.co...guys_in_a_shop/ And no, in case my sarcastic title is confusing, the atheletes are not really the shameful ones.
  14. and any of these beat getting your leg dry-humped in the park by a confused pooch...
  15. In fact, judging from my personal experience, most politicians loath us. We are an at best an annoyance, "yapping chihuahuas at the heels of progress" and "ignorant of how politics work".
  16. So I'm guessing you would not get much done at the Congressional Sauna...... http://nymag.com/dai...f_congress.html Which reminds me...yet another reason not to shake hands with a politician (or let them touch you)
  17. As they say, "It takes a village to raise an idiot"....

  21. Just so you know... http://news.yahoo.com/us-terminates-funding-pakistani-sesame-street-101418625.html and of course it is due to "corruption". My opinion, the corruption started well before the funds were delivered to the Paks.
