Just got back from Royal Blue. They took away the trash cans on the 50yd range. Oddly enough the range was cleaner than it has been in all my recent trips up there.
Did you check for same at the other two ranges ?

The white variants are around (and legal to hunt), but certainly not common. Send your best photos to NWTF and TWRA. They will likely end up in a magazine or calendar. B.

You can also hunt on (most, not all) WMA during small game season, using rimfire.

Nice choice! Dad's came in today.

Puppy Shot And Killed For Wandering Into Neighbor's Yard
Moved here from Hawaii. Havent had deer meat yet. Ive heard it tastes "gamey" and that jerky is the best. Thinkin about takin up huntin myself. Sent from my HTC Inspire using Tapatalk 2
some basics - Field dress it quickly (Don't let it set around in the back of a truck)if you can - drain it well removing as much blood as possible -wash out the body cavity with clean water if possible -get it cool, keep it cool -don't handle/cut the scent glands (rear legs of bucks) when you are skinning or handling meat -remove the fat -scrub/rinse the blood off of meat when you cut/quarter (before you put in cooler for transport to processor) Blood & fat turns rancid quickly. paraphrasing Hunting101 - "it aint gamey at all when done right"
I did today...and will continue, rangers were there complaining about the mess when we got there this afternoon...pumpkins all over the place, along with various other garbage...apparently the 100-150 yard range was even worse...basketballs and the like that people were using. Its the first time I've been up there, but I don't wanna see it close because people can't clean up after themselves. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
Thanks. I have literally hauled out trailer loads of other retard's crap in the last year (and I am not TWRA). More than once I have left all three ranges *pristine* . I truly don't understand the slobs. I have utter contempt for them.

correct. BTW.. pack your crap out. Leave it cleaner than you found it.

I just saw a bass boat night fishing a few minutes ago. 10-15 mph winds, 35-40 deg F dedication.

heh. That occured to me. I wondered how they would validate the critter came from the reservation. "Rigor Mortis?? No man, That there yote had arthritis."

I don't know how it looks on park'd finishes, but on my old, worn, mostly blued P3-AT EDC, I resolved sweat/rust issues with a generous coat of Johnsons Floor Wax (yellow can) and a 30 second buffing. You can even do it after wiping the gun with oil. Oh yeah. Run the PF-9 wet. It likes lube (Rem Oil or CLP works fine). Polish the feed ramp. Takes about 10 minutes. B.

I have a PLR-16 and a tricked out SU-16C (Magpul MOE / ATI side-folder, Red Lion forearm & trigger). They both play very well, especially with Pmags.. I paid $480 used for the "C" about 4 years ago.

I got to where I did all my transactions in cash, and at a credit union parking lot under camera. You get wierd looks when looking over guns, though.

Essential. Yeah, a backup would be nice. I have almost worn one out here.
I'm not finding any lever actions on their web site. Maybe they used to make them? As for the Rossi I was t aware that the action was the same for the 454 as for the 45lc or able to handle the 45-70. See its only 6:30 and I've learned something new today.
Here is the R92 page (and after misreading again and misreading yet again......not a Ruger page...oh well) http://www.rossiusa....l.cfm?newsID=19 and more - http://www.rossiusa.....cfm?category=8

Meat in the freezer. LBL Iron sights at 80 yds (deer facing head on) with a Ruger Super Redhawk .44 Mag Best part is my 79 year old dad was walking about 75 yds behind me and saw the whole thing.

When I searched about the Rossi Model 92 in the Taurus forum and others, I found that opinion says that the 92 action will handle anything that the Ruger will. I have been been running Ruger Only loads for several years in mine, That is the same action that they use in the .454 Casull model, BTW. Expect it to thump your shoulder pretty good (mine needs a pad!),

Yeah, 26 miles on VHF Amateur Radio is a putt. Not even a chip shot. Low $ too. You can even go a digital mode (example JT65 or others) using DSP kit radios and run about a watt or less with directional antennas if you really want to be more undetectible. On top of that you could probably even encrypt.
No one can rock my pink footsie socks like Dolomite.. and it takes a even bigger man to say.. "Man, those are warm" You go with your bad self:)
nice flooring. Plaid & big pink stripes.....meh.
What do they make the barrels with, that they poop at 6K? Or is that normal?
Chrome lined in SU-16's for the last several years.
I quit because of the battery drain.
Don't know about iPhone, but on my aged AT&T tilt, and my SamSung Galaxy Proclaim, I get a good 12 hour day with BT & WiFi activated. Now, the GPS kills them very fast.
