  2. Hey, That's Knoxville !   buh by  redcoat!
  3.   Uh-OH.  You weren't supposed to say anything....
  4. Those ding-a-lings.  They didn't have to get so hard on the guy   anal about it   .
  5. Hey!  Don't Dick's around with serious news !
  6.   My buddy was impressed with you and your crew, and felt for you guys.  He related 5-6 stories of bad behavior in just the hour or so he was at the show.
  7. yup.  read the comments.   http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-TV/2012/12/28/dicks-sporting-goods-refuses-to-fill-payed%20for-rifle-orders
  8. I can only imagine David running a 10-round belt through his Browning or Vickers......
  9. Buddy just sent text (he is 6'5' & ~300 lbs (big guy)   "CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY!!!  IM LEAVING!!  I Did find David and bought the 223 but nothing else.  Customers pushing, rude, angry - I've had enough!"   Wow.  glad I did not go.
  10. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/56495-nra-300-lifetime-membership/
  11. The Wolf/Tula SR & LR primers are fine, but for 5.56 Nato & magnum case cartridges (.222 Rem Mag, .204 Ruger, similar cases), I normally try to get the SRM or SRM .223 primers (as the cups are slightly harder for higher pressure rounds)      On powders, here is what OEM uses - http://www.gd-ots.com/2011%20Brochures/BALL%20POWDER%20Propellants.pdf   As for 5.56 projectile pulls, David Mosely always has them at gunshows under the big "RELOADING" sign.
  12. NRA should at least file an amicus brief.
  13. not excused, rather, defended from an unconstitional law (even if he is a hippocrit).  Shows a measure of grace and compassion well above that of the "anti" lobby.  It would divide them and bring them down in flames on this point. Not to mention displaying the NRA's higher level of understanding on the relevant issues.
  14. yep. count to nine, and the mags free-fall out of a P22.  Don't even have to rack the slide.  Pretty much fire as fast as you can count.
  15. If LaPierre had called him on it, the political and media capital would have been expended prematurely, and it would have backfired on the NRA.   Let it cook a few more days, then come to Gregory's defense.  Liberal heads will explode in paradox.
  16. Even better is to use this (after he is charged) and *pro-gun community* come to his defense in order to point out the absurdity of the DC gun laws.
  17.     Or, after you get the crowd around you, add another zero.
  18.   I have not been on their website nor bought from them since 2008.  Have no idea how I am on their list, but wanted to make the point that due to their character, their $ went straight into my trash can.    I thought it was a simple statement.  Putting bleach on the rot.
  19.   The real twist will be the headline "Washington DC Police charge NRA executive director as accessory to crime"
  20. Just got a thick CTD flier in the mail.   Straight in the garbage.   Did not even look to see if they sell guns.   Did my part. I remember.
  21. It is not a huge problem.   Your wife has done very well indeed.  You would probably end up reloading for this anyway.   There are a few reloaders around Clinton to help you start your own reloading setup (including myself).   This weekend, at the gunshow, ask David (under the big "RELOADING" sign) for brass, bullets, primers, and powder). Get what expendables he has to offer (at least get the brass), then we can help you figure out equipment.and other stuff.   If you order a set of .300 Blackout dies (I do not have that), I will be happy to let you learn on my bench.   It will be well worth the effort.   Bert
  22.   How'd you score the good stuff ?  I got rocks and dirt.  I can't even build a decent fire...
  23.   and lumpy
  24. I wonder... At the larger ham radio shows, sometime the vendors are set with two crews, both inside and outside (usually trailer & awning). Outside and inside spaces are rented.   Does that happen at any gun shows ?
