  1. I read Willie & Korie's book . These are some seriously sharp business people.
  2. Get a chronograph if you are going to actually develop non-published loads.   roughing in, I do much the same as described above, except 5 rd sets, 0.5gr powder increments, and .025" OAL jumps.   On unknown-load powders (common in .204 Ruger), usually I find a similar burn rate powder, derate ~ 25% and get a baseline chrono measurement and scale up or down (usually a fairly linear function) to the projectile velocity I want (1-3 rds).  From there, I go to process above.   In unknown territory, absolutely use safety goggles. watch for squibs, watch your primers and cartridges for over-pressure signs, watch your chrono for excessively slow or fast velocities.   I do not zero the scope during testing, but do cover the target back-board with newspaper (to cover up all the old holes).   Once I find a relatively sweet spot, I reduce the delta in variables and tune it up.   And yes, test one powder, and one projectile at a time.  Its less complicated.
  3. Have a great summer, cuz.
  4. Which range, Norris ?   Description please ?   Any details on his vehicle?     I don't want to be anywheres near him on the range.
  5. I bet South Park does a episode on this.  "Cartman saves the day"
  6.   It certainly shows up in sufficent detail on Google Earth
  7.   That would be a Lee Zip Trim.  Great little gadget
  8. stupid on toast.   You should be able to pay your taxes, buy tags, etc without further harassment.   As the artical implies, no difference there than Wal-Mart.
  9. I noticed 4 places w/ .22LR between .04 & .05 /rnd, including Cabelas with bulk boxes in Rem & WIn.   I also adjust my "deal" prices on Gunbot when lowest price shows.  Adjusted it for four calibers this morning.     Prices on GunBot have been drifting down in the last two weeks.  I have been making 2-4 changes /day.     May be just a lip, but there was definitely a change overnight.
  10. Last I bought was a bulk box of .22LR back in October. I gave it away, twice.  (The first fellow found some before retrieving it).    The box before that was in 2010.  Have not bought more than a box of any center-fire for 6-7 years.   I *may* have bought a few reloading supplies, but can't really remember that.  Pretty sure David won't remember either.
  11. Here is my Lawyer. He's a real..........   http://richardheadpllc.com/
  12. and a mighty fine job you did !!
  13.   #4 & # 6 probably snarfed up for the just ended turkey season.
  14.   Nobody commented on this yet, but my gut reaction is bad idea.  The powder drop systems are designed for safe handling of powder, and depending depending on how this concept is implemented, bypasses several safety principles.  Induced static charges and airflow are not your friends in this system.
  15. won't be spider related, but kazoo brigade for me, please.
  16. yeah, that's not even the same auction now. This morning was a KSG, not RFB   Looks like they reindexed or something after deleting several bids including Taylor's
  17.   Not from me.  I am accountable for enough as it is.....      <never thought I would use a angel thingy>
  18. out of curiosity, do you have a baffle in the powder drop ?   I also leave a Downy sheet in my hopper, helps with static attraction .
  19. Thinking someone is tired of $2500 KSGs.   I have seen 6-8 lately, and not a one under $2000.   Nice to see someone tweek the system.
  20. The world's most desirable object on auction.  So many zero's I can't even express this, but it is funny!    https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/auction_info.php/products_id/59724/auctions_id/3734/page/1/auction_show/1   I guess this is one way to throw a monkey-wrench of sanity into the works....pretty much shut this one down for now.
  21.   Have rechargables.  they don't work nearly as well when your 80 yr old father generally and stubbornly refuses to change batteries.  These last 7 good days, as opposed to 1.5 - 2 days.    As far as Oak Ridge, not gun related.  But anytime a manager is called in-office by a customer, problem explained, and THEN has to ALSO walk down for face-to-face (they don't know up front that I am in the store, as I simply describe the problem at first)...it gets their attention.    All conducted calmly and I am very courteous, but is a memorable event for them.  usually modifies or fixes the customer-service behavior issue at hand. Pulling the phone out and doing it in the presence of the offending clerk is particularly effective.
  22.   Are you sure about Clinton?  If so...Well, coffee klatch.
  23. I get pissed every time I try to buy the hi-cap AA & AAA batteries (in the photo department) from Walmart in Clinton.  Need them for GPS SPOT tracker, and get carded for that.    I need to put their managers phone# in my phone.  Did that with Oak Ridge, and solved a world of problems by making them walk their butt back to where I happened to be.
  24. good question
  25.   Do we know if any of this ammo is re-sold in local Clinton area shops or by FFLs on-line? (or just gunshows/private on-line)
