  1.         I take it you are not familiar with the life & works of Warren Zevon ?    Crap.  How did I miss that?   Oh Well, I'll wash it out with some Amy Grant.  100 rounds of "Tender Tennessee Christmas" in penance.   ooh!  only 22 posts until 1600.  Hang on a minute.....
  2.       Have to.  There be werewolves among us.
  3. Send lawyers, guns & money!     (oh yeah, enjoy every sandwich.)
  4. I am having trouble keeping up. Can we merge this thread with the one on filming traffic stops ?
  5. I'm pretty sure la Nuga meant to.
  6.         That assumption is just as big as the one I made.    They might be in concert on this.    Certainly, now that it has happened, it will be played like a chess game of masters.
  7. Mine need to be a hard-hat, not that wimpy thing. It won't hurt Uncle Ted, one way or the other. Maybe she will get the David Gregory treatment. Regardless of intent, it is a golden opportunity for the Nuge. You can't buy this kind of attention to your cause.
  8. Nah. She has better attorneys.
  9. I opine that it is rooted in veiled civil disobedience. Perfect person for a test/cause case. I do not believe that she is that careless.
  10.   My OPINION -   Call me a skeptic, but no way this was a mistake or accident.  These folks know the stakes, and they know the system.    This will be very interesting to watch, and will be groundshaking.  Tons of political power posturing will take place.   This was a crossing of the line drawn in the sand.
  11. I really, really, really, really, REALLY hope that Honey Boo Boo does not watch MTV.........
  12. Some cities have TWRA WMA or TVA wildlife reserves within their city limits (as does my little hometown here, as well as Oak Ridge).  Across the road, industrial park.  One side of the gate, get arrested, the other, open to all state seasons.  I love hunting there.  Too bad I never get drawn for the ORR
  13. let it fall to the floor.  Then point at it whimpering & keening hysterically until a crowd gathers around.  Pick it  up, stuff it Mexican style, and walk off with a swagger.
  14.         Lilac Downey, matter of fact.  use it in the tumbler also.
  15. I killed a deer last year with their .44 mag hunting load.  DRT.
  16. Always.  And some on some lakes I carry a carbine.
  17.     Allstate screwed me over badly about two years ago.   After nearly 40 years as a auto customer, and ~20 years as a home customer, they rezoned my fire protection zoning (I was 0.25 miles over their new limit) they, without warning (and no home claims in 10 years), dumped me to a subsidiary, and doubled my premium.  I and my extended family told them to eff off, and found new carriers.   Allstate can rot.   B.
  18.   Ah. Sorry.   Curious, what is the reason for the exceptions on Dyer, Lauderdale, Smith, and Wilson counties?  Are the populations that excessive, or is it one of those political things?
  19.   That was previous season, not this week, right ? Fox season opens on November 22.
  20. Now....   How does Triple Seven rate in sensitivity?  Just about got me afraid of muzzle loader supplies...
  21. no.   A full drier sheet around the inside diameter of the plastic hopper tube.   Pour the powder *inside* the curvature of the sheet (not between the sheet & wall), and the powder then pushes the sheet against the wall.  The bottom of the sheet will on the interface lip of the frame at the bottom of the column.
  22. Here are a few starting points. It is very much the same as for protecting ESD sensitive electronic parts (example - CMOS chips). Grounding, and type of protective device is important to effectiveness.   While some facilities go to heavy measures to install a grounding system, typical home-use anti-static equipment is grounded through the power system ground ("plugged in").  I will note this....when using a wrist strap. be sure to get one with a mega-Ohm resistor built in (for your personal protection - limits current through your body as opposed to bare wire).   Antistatic devices reduce static electricity, which can damage electrical components such as computer hard drives, and even ignite flammable liquids and gases. Types of antistatic devices include: Antistatic bag, used to contain devices, such as graphics cards or hard disk drives, typically during shipping. Antistatic garments, used in many industries such as electronics, communications, telecommunications and defense applications. Antistatic agent, compound used for treatment of materials or their surfaces in order to reduce or eliminate buildup of static electricity Antistatic mat, ranging from small mats for keyboards and mice and larger for people to stand on. Antistatic strap, consisting of a metal component which presses against the skin when worn on the wrist or heel, in turn relayed to an electrical ground. Most of these items can be found at places like Grainger or Amazon http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&page=1&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Aesd%20strap#/ref=sr_pg_2?rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Aesd+strap&page=2&keywords=esd+strap&ie=UTF8&qid=1377437747
  23.   I just checked my humidity level.  It is 39% upstairs, which means it's ~5% lower in the basement reloading room (dehumidifier is down there)   SO... It is lower than I thought (I would have guessed ~45-50% with all the rain).    I could see the room hitting 25% on a dry week...
  24. Crud.  That kinda raises the overall pucker factor......   What kind of primers, and what brand/type of powder ?    What is the work surface of your bench?    Leather, vinyl, fabric, or metal chair?    I recall it raining here late Monday evening (I was mowing), so probably rained down there earlier in the day ? Was there any rain in the area (or thunderstorms, either of these produce static charges in the local air) ?    Bert
