Can someone post the PTAC website (If they have one). Some dude in Nebraska is selling some "PTAC" .204 Ruger barrels on GB. I am trying to learn a bit more. All I find is some gov incubator agency in Kearney NE, and a gun-finisher in Crestview, FL.

For those who dig deep into scripture, and sense a view through His Spirit, this whole episode becomes recognizable for what it is - A harbinger. It has a purpose much larger than Phil Robertson. In this day and age, December 2013, there are few voices that will be heard as widely as Duck Dynasty. It is the very largest cable viewing audience in America - ever. There is a scripture, Isaiah 55:11 that says the Lord's word will go out, and not return void. 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,†declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. To those that are willing to hear, Phil's words were a warning, a harbinger, but also a message of repentance, grace, mercy, and love. There is still time, but not much. According to scripture, God continues to call us to him, and away from sin, and continues to withhold his hand against sin in order that more shall inherit the gift of the grace offered by Christ. It will not always be this way. This event, along with Billy Graham's recent message were absolutely the hand of God calling in ever increasing urgency. Scorn if you wish, but it is real folks. It's serious, and it is not about various religions, it is about Christ. period. And he is calling LOUDLY. etc - Phil Robertson

The most important thing to happen in America this week...
R_Bert replied to a topic in General Chat
It was a classic Stewie story line. He can fix (or break) anything. -
This was my initial thought. Some celeb showed up to shoot with the little people.

I was just reminded; Phil is espousing the same belief system and line of reasoning as the 2013 Time Magazine Man Of The Year. The M.O.T.Y. would not disagree with a single thing Phil said.

David, you coming back to Knoxville in a few weeks?

The same model barrel ?

As I understand, they just wrapped a season, so whatever one that is. #4 you say? You are right on all counts. I have not watched the show, but have listened to a number of sermons from Willie & Phil, plus read the books Phil & Willie put out. They will likely stand on principle and their values.

That entire family shares his beliefs...as strongly as he does.

Without Phil, after this season you will be watching reruns.

Once you pull the bullets, you can reassemble the primed brass with anything that is designed for the caliber. **however** the powder loading *must* be of correct type and quantity for the projectile, and the projectile must be seated to the proper depth. In other words, it is normal and standard reloading recipes and practices found in established data for the caliber (doubtful that you would be able to use the Wolf OEM powder). In practice, just buy the separate components in the first place. It's cheaper & easier. To get more specific in answering your question, in what caliber would you want to run the 77gr SMK?

OK. Thank you for your opinion. I bet I get a heck of lot more than you think. Life ain't fair.

So its about the $. Got it. Quiet life not necessary. as a side bar, I was ruined financiall and professionally. It ain't that bad.

I don't watch TV, and don't follow competition. My reaction literally was 1. ??Who??, 2. Whatever. The problem with gaining the platform and spotlight on your agenda is that - "you ain't special but once". So....Big deal. Secretly, I would love to club baby fur seals and fry up some spotted owl, but I ain't publically revealed that yet. So, Whoever you are, Mr. TV Guy, get over yourself. You're just one more in the crowd. #dunrunouttarodent'srears (translated - I don't give a rat's azz)

Dave, I am saddened by what happened to the young girl, but from a security standpoint, school buildings are no different from any other facility. There is no practical way other than personnel-trap portals, scanning , and then body searches to keep a person from devising a way to bring a weapon into a facility, and not even then with insider assistance. Delay and deterrence serve only one purpose. To give response team a few precious seconds extra time to respond, and to prevent the adversary from escaping. The measure you dream of will never be accepted in public facilities because it takes 5-6 minutes per person to process (multiplied by magnitude of school roster). Wayne LP has it right. The best response to a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun (I add - and overwhelming response at that) That remind me.... all this is another reason to home school.

football games. Bleachers full of soft targets. Don't even have to be inside the field.

The Colorado SRO response was about as good as it will get (120 seconds for total event duration). Respond ASAP, minimize impact, eliminate threat (if no suicide before hand).. (there will always be a way to access or bring a weapon)
