  16. Praying for you brother.  Suggest  Cheezits. Smaller caliber.
  17. Absolutely -   an excerpt from one of our Celebrate Recovery seminars -   Matthew 9:10-13 10 Later, Matthew invited Jesus and his disciples to his home as dinner guests, along with many tax collectors and other disreputable sinners. 11 But when the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with such scum? 12 When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.” 13 Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices. For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”   So, our role is to show Mercy, and Compassion. Note that when Matthew went out, he brought them home. Jesus met them in Church, (which just happened to be at Matthew’s house). Who did Christ seek to socialize with?  “disreputable sinners”! Mathew 9:10   I am so grateful to be invited into Matthew's house.
  18. not a chance.  too whiney.
  19. The software will translate per word, and give options of variation.   You put together your own transliteration.   (i.e. you learn to explain it to yourself)
  20.   Go to the original if you wish to think for yourself. Nowadays, it is available (as opposed to the 1600s)   Most Bible Study software packages have it as an option.   You can look at the original Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic and parse word-for-word
  21. heh.   I think Tertius,  (Paul was near blind, so had assistance writing the letter) was probably a good guy   Poo.  1 Corinthians was dictated to Dr. Luke, not Tertius (who took dictation from Paul to the Romans for Paul)
  22.   To clarify myself -   The.word.in.the.original.text.is.Greek. , not Latin.  And predates the Latin translation to KJV by over a thousand years.    The Latin word you cite from KJV is not the exact Greek word cited in later translations via access to verified original text (which KJV authors did not have).   Seriously, translations improved dramatically over the 500 years, because of archeological discovery of ancient texts, especially those in the 1950's.   You are literally taking Latin vs Greek (essentially apples vs oranges).    NO SCRIPTURE was written (well....precisely >>>) originated in Latin.
  23. Original text in Greek. not KJV.
  24. Irrelevant.   Latin is not Greek, Hebrew, or Aramaic (in which the scripture was written)   Lumber_Jack cited the root word, which was in Greek.
  25. I would prefer a under $100 lower that just "breaks wind".  Hell Breaking is not a necessary expense for me.
