  1. Keep us posted on your results.  I badly need this myself, but cannot afford it.
  2. and for the ones you can't hide - use a cam lock box http://www.camlockbox.com/box-reference   Be sure to get cameras with password protection.   Some have cell phone connection & instant video upload.
  3. legal, yes.  Smart?? depends.  Better look at it.   If you move into or near a subdivision, expect the Sheriff Deputy to come by and explain that someone griped.  Then he will want to talk guns and maybe shoot a round or two.
  4. Stay outside of any city limits.  Most counties around Knox are OK as long as you are doing it safely , but it will piss off the residents in some hoods.    Otherwise the rules are pretty simplistic. That's why we are the Patron State of Shooting Stuff.  The most onerous are the hunting regs of TWRA.   I would suggest that you get an apartment for a short period, and explore the area before you choose where to live. Most cities prohibit discharge of firearms, and most TN counties have no regs on it at all beyond state-level)   No minimum acreage, but you will be responsible for where the projectile ends up.    far-north Knox, Anderson, Campbell, Claiborne counties are my personal favorite.    What area will you work at?
  5. It was .04/ rnd at Cabelas last night for  $22 for 500 rnd box.
  6. Y'all been served, ya hear?
  7. No wonder my consulting business sucks!  I always forget to subtract overhead!  :wall:
  8. just don't kiss on the first date, even if you do have a purdy mouth. You gotta make the mountain man respect you first.
  9. That was actually a transfer.  The addiction is still present, however the focus and priorities have improved.
  10. well, it does give a baseline for doing your own load development from scratch.    I have done that a time or two for projectiles with minimal available load data, or for a great deal on bulk mil-surp powder with cheap .  bullets   On this one, reduce by another 15%, say ~18 grains, build a ladder-string on the chrono, and test 10-15 increasing-load rounds (max 23 gr)  for pressure signs and performance on a chrono. BE SURE to watch for squibs.     That said, personally, on this one, I would just keep an eye out for a better known/matched powder to match the projectile. There is plenty of good data out there on this one. Last time I loaded 22792, looks like I used Win748.
  11. Lee Manual, for a 75 Gr jacketed, starts out at 21.0 gr H335 @  2.250" OAL.  max 23.0 gr.
  12. pretty emotional response.....
  13. Simply Incompetent.  And add two more countries to the list.   http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-London/2014/03/27/Obama-Makes-Two-Major-Foreign-Polcy-Gaffes-on-Europe-Trip   And contradicted the pontiff (again) - http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-TV/2014/03/27/Obama-Downplays-Vatican-Concerns-Over-ObamaCare-Infringing-On-Religious-Freedoms-Of-Americans
  14. I have seen them on Gunbot @ .05 & .06 each 5-6 times this week, including a few hours ago.   Of course they sell out.  But, they do show up frequently.
  15. better yet, they ought to rebel against the prices and not stock it at all.
  16. Is this empty or with a shell chambered? If chambered, Is it reloads or factory ammo?   I have had exactly the same problem on two Encores.  Both times, it was related to my reloaded brass not being sized perfectly right for the T/C chamber - usually on minimum end of SAAMI specs   (in my case, a small-base die corrected the problem).
  17. We have a Roku 3, Netflix, and Hulu+ running on the standard speed Comcast Internet (but use high end modem & wireless router).  Dumped all Comcast TV.   It works great, and saves us about $100/month over the old bill.   We use a separate patch antenna for local HDTV TV
  18. Is this church baptist or pentecostal? You might need a few moving targets.
  19. What caliber and projectile?
  20. Unfortunately, I got more components than time.
  21. A guys life ruined in the meantime.  For a projectile we buy a thousand at a time from David.   I wonder if it is illegal to mail a XTP to DC?  It sure is illegal to receive them.   Every reloader in the country should be sending spares up there, just to help out.
  22. I hear them late at night in my back yard several times a month, taunting the neighbor's dogs.   It used to be exciting, but now it's just annoying.   Need Dolomite to do a NV ambush.
  23. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/mar/26/miller-exclusive-shock-verdict-mark-witaschek-guil/     We need to build a moat around DC and flood it.  Idiots.
  24. Only nine countries? I wonder what the Biden honor roll looks like?   http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2014/03/26/9-Obama-insults   - I thought I remembered one on Argentina recently...non-Spanish speaking ambassador who new nothing about the country (a common theme).   - Pretty sure the Vatican has a observer seat in the UN, and think he has mentioned the Pope on a variety of subjects.   Anyway, it could have been worse.  Romney didn't know anything at all about foreign policy or international relations. Dodged that bullet.
  25. HOAs are toxic to Ham Radio also.   You sign the contract, and you have signed rights away.   Funny story - I built my house about 20 years ago, and proceeded to put up 3 radio towers (and later a 4th).  The HOA went absolutely apesh!t.  I let them rail and threaten me about it for ~18 months, before pointing out to them that they had not read their own paperwork (I had).  My part of the hood was never annexed, and I was ~150' outside of the HOA bounds. I am still pariah.
