  1.   I bet that was entertaining.  Did you do the stupid video and the on-line skills testing?    They have had the same raft of job postings listed for almost 4 years.  Don't waste a lot of time with them.
  2. Yes, I need the shorter one. (I am small frame, short arms) What trigger is that on the top one?
  3.   That's the one I was looking at.   Does it come with the barrel nut?  is there a way to mount a sling-swivel?     Thanks.
  4. Question - which handguards did they get? Those round ones in the $50-$60 price range look really good if actually free-floating. Can't tell how they mount to the gun.
  5. For whatever reason....probably because I didn't have interest in AR pre-TGO buy, I have not spent much time at all on arfcom. Maybe minutes. I had not even thought of them. Am looking for the AR-UL-E Ultra Lite Entry model. Used would be fine. I can refinish if needed.
  6. My 50th gat was a Ruger Super Redhawk.
  7. Thank You!
  8. Anyone use www.Del-Ton.com ?   I am wanting to get a Ace Ultra Lite Entry stock. Not many places carry them.   I was going to go direct with Ace website, but got hit with a *nasty* script from the site.  It even had a audio message to call a 1-800 # to fix the "problem" it claimed I had.  That site did it to me a few years ago also. Worse than Kel-Tec's infection a while back.
  9. Some sites (ex Breitbart, TTAG, etc) are getting pretty abrasive with pop-up ads, redirects, scripts, and other crap on the page,   So, I need to ratchet it down.   Anyone using Adblock Plus on Explorer 11 ? - https://adblockplus.org/en/about
  10. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/81745-308-cmt-potential-group-buy/
  11. no, it isn't allowed in GSM.  Neighboring National Forests (Cherokee NF, etc) yes.     Here is the TN hunting guide - http://www.tn.gov/twra/pdfs/huntguide.pdf .   And if that doesn't glaze your eyes over, here is the TN fishing guide - http://www.eregulations.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/14TNFW-FINAL-LR.pdf
  12. Put one fish in there (with the hand full of gravel & used Bio-Wheel).  There has to be a source of on-going nutrients to start the nitrogen cycle.
  13. Who did your coating?
  14. As long as you put it back together, I have a Toyota 6 cyl for your other centerpiece.
  15. It is rather ugly. I am definitely going click-adjust, and had my eye on the Syrac since first seeing them. The side adjustment on this one was interesting, but I have almost decided to go with minimal length on hand guard (otherwise would need greatly extended hex wrench from the front). ........Now that SLR looks real good......
  16. Seems to have increased.
  17. Since you made the distinction between coyote & rabbits -  make sure TWRA does not find you shooting bunnies with the center-fire "bunny rounds".    They have some kinda stupid rules about that.
  18. Yet another click-adjustable gas-block   Anyone used one of these?   http://www.blackfoxresearch.com/Click-Block.html
  19. BTW,   for you aquarium guys, I just stumbled across a few books of interest on my shelf .   Y'all can use them more than I will.   Offering them for free (as a set of 4), but recipient has to pick up the book-rate postage (or pick up).  All are in great shape, and several are classics.     “The Marine Aquarium Handbook” by Martin Moe, 1992 “Fishes for the Invertebrate Aquarium 3rd ed.” by Helmut Debelius, 1989 “Marine Aquarium Reference, Systems and Invertebrates”, by Martin Moe, 1989 “The Marine Fish and Invert Reef Aquarium, 8th ed.”, Albert J. Thiel, 1989   Bert
  20.   Not according to NWS NOAA That's why I said "regional"   http://www.weather.com/news/july-2014-us-cool-indiana-arkansas-20140812     Sidenote - 16 years in a row the trend has been cooling.  Apparently this year has particularly messed with the global warming computer models.
  21. From what I understand, the weather this year is actually cooler (I listening to interview with one of the region's meteorologist on NewsTalk 987)   For example, in this area, Knoxville, by now would normally have had 34 days above 90 degrees F.  This year is cooler, with only 15 days so far (less than 50% expected).
  22. I actually did that when I converted a Keltec SU-16 to a Magpul CTR. Not that it matters when the stock loosens up on that one. But a good strap-wrench should be in everyone's toolkit.
  23. David, so sorry to hear of this.   B.
  24. If you can find a bottom-drilled tank, run a sump under the cabinet.  I ran a pair of 55's with 30 gal sumps.   But, as someone mentioned, 55 is too small.   BTW, go for surface area, not depth, if you plan on plants.   And cichlids tear the hell out of plants....mostly in boredom.
  25. Finished three job applications, then mowed the yard.
